Apple issue or GM issue?

I was having a hard time connecting to Apple CarPlay once in a while. My phone was connected but Apple CarPlay was greyed out and would not connect. I finally figured out that in my wifi settings to my truck (on my phone), the auto join was turned off! I toggled that back on and now it connects again every time.
