3.0 Duramax Oil Catch Can Install

I’m glad to see that you’ll are interested in this kit, means a lot to me. All parts needed to make these kits have been ordered, so I’ll be making more kits once I get all the parts in. Thank you all so much for your support.

Installed my kit today. Took about 30-minutes to install:

What is the plastic hose on top for?
the computers on our trucks will throw a check engine light if it sees to much pressure, so the hose has a by pass valve that’ll open at a certain pressure. When doing the R&D I had the check engine light come on and when I check the code it was due to excessive pressure, adding a by pass valve fixed this issue.

It was recommended that I do an oil catch can for my '15 Di 5.3. I didn't, but I got 264k miles out of it before major top end failure. Sorry, but I'm not sold on the benefits of a catch can

I’m not to familiar with a Di 5.3, is that a natural aspirated gas engine? Like a LS 5.3 motor?

I have a 22 3.0 Duramax. I plan to put a catch can on it. I Like your set-up. Looks like they are sold out on Ebay. How do I order one?
