23 Infotainment Center issues, IDK what to do anymore.

Update:
Sorry it took a bit longer to give an update on here but I was testing the infotainment out a bit longer. After the factory reset again after I got the (QIHM22-B-00708) update from the dealer. I have had less issues. I did make a service appointment to get a reflash last week but I canceled it because the only small issue I am having is when my phone connects via bluetooth to the truck and starts playing music, the music cuts out for a second or two and then no issues, this also happens when I connect via wireless apple carplay and also wired carplay. I again tested my phone (13 pro max) to my wifes 23 Palisade via wired carplay no issues, also my moms 23 Honda, wired car play and wireless carplay no issues. I now think a reflash won't make a difference on my infotainment center, and that I just have to wait for another software update, which I am hoping that will fix the issue.

does anyone know how to get the software update prompt back? As in my truck was prompting me to update a few times within the last few weeks which I kept ignoring because I had seen some horror stories about bricked trucks and we were getting ready for a long trip.

Now i went to the settings to do it today and there is no longer an update available (and says last updated in december 2022).

After going twice to the service department to fix my infotainment issues and no luck, I do not know what to do anymore. I been having daily music via Bluetooth issues and it will skip or stop the music, constant lag issues as well and go luck trying to get carplay to work smoothly. At the service department they installed the same update both times which was (QIHM22-B-00708) . Does anyone have contacts at GM that can push a update or know what to do?
!!! I know of this issue and as someone that directly works with GM they have stated they know it's an issue on the current OS for the screens, there is no fix currently but they know its software related and are working on it!! it most likely won't be a recall just a OTA update so check for updates regularly, many GM owners with the new style screens are having this issue 2 of my friends have this issue their mechanics and GM TAC has said to replace the screen a BCM flash, etc but the issue was found to be software, hold tight the fix is coming.

You probably need to go to the dealership and they will do the update.

Thanks for letting me know man!!

Update:

Just got a important update OTA (GM N23-241156), it only says "Updates made to the overall vehicle software update" "Better Never Stops". Does anyone know what this update does?

Hey Remi, I hope you been doing well, just wondering if there is any updates from your friends?

Update, I did a live chat on the GMC website, they told me to call the Connection Center Team @ 877-558-8352 to report the issues and maybe they can push another update, they open at 9am EST. I will let y'all know what they say. If some of y'all want to call as well, that would be awesome.

Just talked to the Connection Center team, they told me to take it back to the dealership and tell them to reflash the infotainment center and also to tell the dealership to contact the "GMC TAC" department. So I am going to set up another appointment and hopefully this works, and will update everyone on here. I also asked the Connection Team, what if this doesn't work what is the next step, he said "It has to work"
Did this work? Please advise I am going in to the dealership with the same issue of my 2023 Sierra Denali infotainment radio going quiet. Just wonder if I should skip a step?

Sorry for the late reply. No luck so far and no update that fixes my issues yet. But when your radio goes quiet does it come back on after a second or two or?

Mine does exactly that. Truck is going in tomorrow for a bulletin that came out Jan 4th. Hopefully this fixes the radio and the fan issue that happened to me once but is also mentioned in this programming update.

I hope the new update works for you, please let us know if it does and if it shows what update version. I might have to take mine in for the update when I get home.

I will restart my phone and see if that works, but I just do not see this fixing it, since I just used the carplay in my wifes 2017 Elantra and literally had no issues with apple carplay for the whole week I had it. Thanks for the reply :)
Make sure you iPhone is updated as well - then a 2nd reboot.

Delete Bluetooth from both iPhone and infotainment system - and re-add phone to vehicle after reboot of vehicle system.

Thanks for the reply. But I’ve done this so many times also even after every update and still no luck.

Have a Tesla that does the same thing as my 24’ AT4X. It usually only does it when start out.

I’d say that if the flash’s / full re-install still results in same poor outcome
, could have a chipset or wiring issue.
