Wondering if anyone added an extra speaker to an at4 A pillar? The at4x has an extra speaker in the A pillar wondering if it’s possible to add in a standard at4?

So the A pilar to the doors. Didn't know that thanks!I have the AT4x. The a pillar has a cup for the OEM tweeter. OEM tweeter is kind of garbage. You can get some 3/4” JBL or Infinity tweeters (they are 3 ohm) you can put in the cup.
The A pillar tweeter is off the same channel as the door speaker. Yellow/black yellow wire on passenger side. If the wiring is not already up there you just drop the wire down the side of the dash then tie into the wire that runs under the door sill molding and out to the door. Would be very easy tie in.
I replaced all of mine and ran all new wires so I could have the tweeter on a separate channel from the doors. So I had to pull all new wires through there up to the A pillar even though I had the OEMs.
Caution: I highly recommend you pull your battery negative terminal then let truck sit for 20-30 minutes before messing with A pillar. You have the air bag right there and they can deploy. Need time for the capacitors to drain to reduce risk of a face full of air bag.
Here is a photo behind the A pillar. Tweeter is low on the A pillar, below the white air bag pictured.
I want something plug and play obviously going oem would be the easy route. I’m most likely going to get someone to wire this up since I’m terrible with audio and wires. What does running’s tweeter with 3ohm do? And what are the stock ohm? Did you replace your tweeters in the top of the dash as well?I have the AT4x. The a pillar has a cup for the OEM tweeter. Speakers come with different Ohm or resistance ratings. 4 is the most common, 3 is less common. Bose uses 3 ohm because they have lower resistance and can get a little more sound out of the same watts. So the ones I referenced are 3 ohm to match the factory system. If you use higher ohm speakers they will sound quieter than the others.I want something plug and play obviously going oem would be the easy route.
