2023 Ordering Experience

I've got a '23 LZ0 diesel AT4 that was built last week. Sadly for me, they built it in Mexico rather than Ft. Wayne. So instead of having it in a few days, it will likely be a few weeks. Maybe November will have some manufacturer incentives to make it beneficial..
Mine is being built next week at the Mexico plant as well. Did yours already ship?

i had my dealer pull the carbon pro from my order. It actually caused the price to go UP. thanks GM. I'm fairly certain carbonpro is causing my order to be in 1100 hell.
I have been at 1100 for 5 days short of one month, not as long as you. I asked my dealer if something on my order was under constraint and causing it not to be picked up. He didn't think so but also said changing anything would remove price protection and move me to the back of the line with GM. I chose to leave the order as is. I'm here saving up cash while waiting.
One more thing, your build may be fine, your dealer may just not have the allocation for your specific build yet. Or they have a bunch of orders in front of yours they are not telling you about.

An update... My truck is now at 4200 status (shipped) with a delivery ETA of 11/7.
You have a AT4X MY 23? My dealership is saying that the order banks are not even opened yet and you can’t build a MY23 on the gmc website.
they are telling me in the next month or so they’ll open the 23s up for order.

Correct. AT4X production for 2023 is broken into two phases. The first phase has trucks that are equipped and look exactly like the 2022's. Orders for these started in July, and I believe they'll build them through November. (When my MY22 AT4X order couldn't be fulfilled, my dealer submitted my same build as a MY23 order once the banks opened in July.) The second phase will be the "new AT4X" with AEV-styled front bumper and larger tires. I'm not sure about the ordering timeframes for these, but I think they're scheduled to start arriving after the first of the year, so it shouldn't be too much longer before orders can be submitted.

The GMC website had the build option for the AT4X's last month, but it was only there for a couple weeks. It disappeared around the time "new AT4X" commercials started running.

ahh! Makes sense, that also makes sense on why the dealership told me I could order a AT4X and the walker that back a bit saying the windows needs to open. They never mentioned that it’s the new AT4X Vs the old however I did know that would happen later, just didn’t realize later was now. Ha.
thanks for the explanation.

Ordered a 2022 in June but the order was never picked up and was transitioned to a 2023

Crew cab short bed
3.0 LZ0

TPW of 9/26

Currently sitting at 3800 status on 10/12

Looks like it was built at the Fort Wayne Plant.
Order is 4200 status on 10/24/22 with no ETA as of yet.

Confirmed from the Fort Wayne Plant.

2023 Sierra AT4
Summit White
3.0L Duramax

Order submitted July 6th
TPW of 9/26
Sitting at Event Code 4300 now

Truck built on 10/6, but no delivery ETA yet. Called CS today and was told "It's in New Haven pending dispatch". Hoping it ships via rail soon and doesn't get stuck in GM purgatory for months on end.
Truck is still sitting in a lot waiting to be shipped and dealer isn’t optimistic that it will be shipped any time soon. GMC customer service is quoting up to 12 weeks to deliver from date of manufacture. Hope to see it by Thanksgiving but that may be naive.

I might as well contribute here.
CC Short Bed

CWM Tech Package

Talked to my dealer today, and I'm excited. Maybe I will have it in my hands before winter is over.

To circle back on this. I got my 23 yesterday 10/31/22

Hope this helps give others a time frame.
Out of curiosity, was your truck built in Mexico or Ft. Wayne? I've noticed dealers in my area (Atlanta), to-date, have only received deliveries for trucks made in Mexico and those built in Ft. Wayne have no delivery ETA.

Dealer submitted 10/31 and was told roughly 8 months give or take, which isn't giving me much confidence on their allocations.

Can't find any information on the availability of a power adjustable passenger seat on the AT4. I would think a high level trim like this would have both seats power adjustable.

My 2023 build sheet shows 10-way power driver and passenger seats.
