2023 GMC Sierra 1500 AT4x AEV Build

I remember the KC lights also. Had them on a few of my trucks back in the day, mid 90's lol!

Wow appreciate the inspiration and ideas. Super clean. Looking forward to adding some of these to my new thunderstorm gray at4x.

Do you have two tool bars holding up the traction boards?

Just one tool bar using bigger and steel riv nuts. Then attached to the tool bars is this.

New product from Overland Defense. Their Fog light mounts for the GMC Sierra 1500 AT4x AEV front bumper.

Happen to remember where you routed the cables through? Received my mounts this afternoon and waiting on the lights now.

So first, when mounting the Baja Design lights in the Overland Defense mounts, you will want to mount them upside down. So you will have to remove the Baja Design faceplate/lense of the light, and flip it 180 degrees. That way the deepest part of the rear of the light is oriented on the bottom of the light, and the faceplate/lenses is oriented correctly. When wiring the lights, i removed the front skid plate to have full access to the back of the front bumper. From there you can slide the male/female end in between the bumper and bumper mount. Then just route and zip tie everything up securely. Wasn't super difficult at all.

Viair RV Compressor installed/mounted on a Builtright molle panel. Reinforced the inside of the crossbin with steel bars to insure no warping of the aluminum. Next task is to wire everything up to my Auxbeam switch panel, then instsll air tank, Rough Country air regulator, and air lines.

Looks good, John! I still haven't wired the ARB Twin I put under the back seat; I'm trying to figure out what gauge wire I need to handle the 63 amp max power draw!

Thank you. Yeah the wiring part is always a pain. I just looked at the max amp draw for the compressor. Then you will know what gauge wire it will require. I am going to run 10 gauge. This will support more then the max amp draw for the compressor at full load. I was going to go out a get the ARB twin compressor but for as much as i will use it, this Viair will be more then what i need. The ARB twin would be over kill and a lot more money. That is why i went with the Viair.

I went with an Epic Kraken System with ARB Pressure Control, which was all a small fortune anyway. But, I have app control for both inflation and deflation. And access on both sides of the truck. I took a system for a Jeep JL and frankensteined it! I'll post when complete. I think I have an old thread on here somewhere.

That ARB pulls like 90amps. Eventually will add a tank too. I’m installing both in the bed and I picked up 6 awg wire. Might be overkill but it’ll be safe.
