2022 Refresh Order Experience

I reserved a 22 AT4 refreshed on Jan 8th and received an email from the dealer confirming the reservation. I sat down with a salesman to spec the truck but as of the other day, he said their allocation has not allowed any AT4's to be ordered. I don't have a reservation # or anything to track. Should I just sit tight till the dealer says he was able to order, or press the issue? I'm new to ordering like this and hate having no information. Thanks

If i were you I would look for a busy dealer that gets a big allotment.

I live in Nashville and will fly up to St Louis when it’s done. Hoping i get mine built before the plant shutdown

Reserved my Refreshed Summit White CCSB, 20", A/T, V8, Preferred Pkg w/ Sunroof today. Dealer was transparent about the factory shutdown ahead of time which I greatly appreciated and now am seeing on here. I figured I better just get in line if I ever want one!

What is an event code? My dealer already gave me an order number with my build sheet. Is that it?

Defines what production stage vehicle is currently in. Others have posted a few links and articles here about how to contact GMC for an updated event code and what each code means.

Thank you, I tried it this morning and they gave me code "3300".. Based on a list I found on GMA website, this should mean that I'm half way to getting the truck delivered? Below is the list of event codes I found on a fast google search.

Just got some great news… Mine had a target production week of last week but wasn’t built… But now it has been. So maybe they’re running about a week behind. But if you don’t get it built this week you’re gonna have to wait a couple weeks

I placed my reservation through gmc.com on 1/31/22 but have yet to hear from my dealer or gmc regarding building out my truck. Is this a typical wait time for everyone?

Curious, how soon after you placed your reservation were you able to spec your build?

I called Laura GMC in St. Louis at the very end of February and placed an order with the salesman. It was just built this week. You have to be proactive

Call your dealer ASAP and get an order # and then initiate a chat with GMC on their website. You should have heard something.
