Very possible. I'm getting mine this week and noticed in the dealer pics the front license plate holder and the high clearance steps were missing. They said those are installed in house. Maybe the same for your kicker system.

I noticed on mine the front license plate holder was sitting in the back seat. I hope I can pick mine up tomorrow. They have the pdi and ceramic coating to do before I can pick it up.

TPW of 03/21. Truck arrived at dealer yesterday. Went to go see it and complete financing. Truck was still pending assist step board, kicker audio system in the tailgate, and a couple other things. Missing heated steering wheel, ventilated/heated seats, and park assists which will be retrofitted at a later date. One thing not included that will NOT be retrofitted at a later date is the rear wheel well guards. Kind of ridiculous that they offer a $70,000 truck without this. It looks incomplete/naked.

Ask your dealer if they have wheel well liners in stock. My dealer had a pair in the parts department they installed for me at a small price minus the $140 credit. They must be from a 2021 or a 2022 limited.

I’m still waiting for my allocation from the dealer. They told me today that this past week there was only 95 allocations for the 1500 at4 in the country. Anyone hear anything else? Thanks

Mine was accepted by GM this past week so my dealer received an allocation. No TPW yet. But i've also had the order in for 6 weeks before it was actually accepted.

My TPW was 5/2, and I was notified yesterday that it was built. Expected delivery to dealership 5/27.
AT4 standard box, dynamic blue, 3.0L, premium and tech package w/sunroof.

Where does allocation come in? After 2 months I received the accepted email. Does that mean my truck finally has an allocation or do I have to wait for an allocation until it is scheduled for production? Been a couple of weeks since the email so I did a live chat and they didn't have any information.

Once you get the accepted "Your Journey starts here" email that means your dealer received an allocation. Next email will be the "your vehicle is scheduled for production" email and then the GMC chat should be able to give you the Target Production Week.

My TPW was 5/9... and also received the e-mail stating my Sierra is scheduled for production. What/When is the next e-mail/update usually?

Got a TPW of 5/30 yesterday after speaking with GM chat. They also enrolled me into weekly email updates about the build so we'll see how that goes. After finishing with GM I received the email stating "your vehicle is being built". Whole process has been moving along smoothly.
