2022 Refresh Order Experience

It figures the day I was about to say F it because this whole process has been extremely frustrating I get an email from GMC saying my order has finally been accepted. Of course I just put four new tires and windshield on my current vehicle. I guess I can get excited again now lol.

I just got an email about the reservation I cancelled 2+ months ago getting accepted for production too. It was a local dealer. They half assed my request and slow rolled me so I assumed they didn't want to take an order due to the fact they would rather sell the truck for over MSRP to someone else. Called to cancel the reservation and after the allowed time talked to my bank about reversing the charges since they were non responsive to my attempt to cancel the reservation and hadn't reversed the charges as I requested per the rules in the reservation paperwork.

So no idea what is going on there. Would be nice not to have to ship it but these people (at least the internet sales manager) were near useless so I don't want to get involved with them.

Just got word from GMC that my truck is at the Vehicle Distribution Center in Fort Wayne IN, just waiting for it to be picked up and deliver to the dealership.
I'm so excited guys! She's finally coming home!!!🕺
When did you order and when did it move to 3000? Mine just moved to 3000 (Accepted by production control) today

I also received an acceptance email today after 2 months. I was starting to look at ones at dealers but I guess I'll wait. What is the typical time between acceptance and delivery?

I placed my reservation on the first day. Then got contacted by my dealer and ordered on 02/09.. They got back to me saying order was accepted on 02/24 and gave me a target production week of 03/21.

For those of you sitting at code 3000, I got a little more detail about the process this morning from GMC chat:

“I see your order is currently accepted into the system but does not have a target production week assigned yet. The order will remain in accepted status until GM schedules the next batch of orders for this model. The ETA for this process will vary depending on plant needs. You should have a finalized build week that we are able to provide within the next two weekly updates.”

I ordered on 3/5/22...order was accepted and sitting @ 3000 on 5/5/22. so im guessing it will take another month to be built, then another month ater that for delivery? so is it safe to say i should probably expect my truck sometime in july?

Watched a you tube video on the refresh and it stated that only the technology package includes navigation. Another video said there is no built in navigation and it uses google maps on your phone. I ordered the premium package but not technology. I was under the assumption that all new at4s had navigation and it didn't depend on a package decision. What is your understanding so I can stop watching you tube.

Time to vent a little!! Ordered AT4X in December truck was built on 3/14. Shipped to Portland by boat where it is still sitting. I was supposed to get it on 5/4 but now it has changed to 5/19 because not enough delivery drivers. Dealership said they have 7 trucks in Portland that they can’t get here. Now they want to explore other options of getting them here. That will probably take a month to figure out. I have already made my first payment and have the license plates because I paid for it on 4/2 because it was just a few weeks away then. Tired of f.. ing waiting. Has anyone else had this issue? Can I pick it up myself? Portland is less than 3 hours away and would happily go pick it up. Any idea of what I can or need to do?
