2022 Refresh Order Experience

Shipping sure has issues. My AT4 Refresh was ordered first of the year, built week of 5/2 and since, including today, I am told its built and waiting at a freight depot. I did find out this is in Mexico. So, its been sitting there for almost 2 weeks so far and nobody can tell me any more. The event code is 4300. Waiting is tough.
I feel your pain.... AT4X stuck in Mexico with yours 😤

Any one else get told from the dealer their build has everything included? Heated/ventilated seats, park assist, the whole thing? My AT4 is now 4300 and my dealer is telling me it has everything but am a little skeptical seeing that most truck are being retrofitted for various things.

Finally my AT4 has been produced this week. Was initially told the TPW was delayed a week, but it got built on my original TPW of 5/13/22 after all.
AT4, 6.2L, Carbón Pro, premium, moon roof, multiflex tailgate with kicker speakers
Ordered 1/27/22
Accepted 4/12/22
TPW 5/13/22

My pick up that I just picked up last week had everything on it and working. So hopefully they are right.

I'm annoyed with the fact that some of you put in orders in April and your trucks are already way ahead of me when my order went in in mid-February. GRRRRR
it's the ass backwards dealer allocation system. The allocation system works fine when cars are on the lots and dealers are moving them, but when the customer is put at the back of a line because the dealership near them sucks, then there is a problem GM needs to solve IMO.

My dealer just called me and said, “Sorry, you can’t get Cayenne Red Tintcoat on your ordered truck anymore”. So I canceled my order. Guess I’ll wait to order a 2023 Volcanic Red Tintcoat.

Mine just got delivered!
Is the the Titanium rush color? I ordered mine in that color way. It been shipped. Just waiting but I was getting worried about the color. Watching YouTube videos saying it looks purple. What do you think of the color? I ordered thinking it was a charcoal gray.

Got a call from my dealer that my truck was in right after my post complaining it hadn't come in yet despite an ETA of Monday. For everybody's reference it is a refreshed 1500 6.2 Crew Cab Short Box with Premium, Safety and Technology Packages, 20inch wheels in Titanium Rush. I ordered it 2/24 and it had a build week of 3/21. The heated seats and heated steering wheel do not work and are expected to be retrofitted with chips this Summer. I was told that this was also true of the parking sensors but they seem to work. It came without wheel liners in the back and that I was getting a $140 credit. I made it clear that was unacceptable and that I wanted the wheel liners and don't give a shit about the $140. The dealer GM agreed to order them (I have an "I Owe U") and install them at no cost. They had to remove the $140 credit though which seemed fair. Apparently those wheel liners are nowhere to be found right now. My Denali had them and they really reduce the wheel noise in the rain and help prevent snow buildup. Overall I am very pleased with the truck. It feels a lot bigger than my 18 Sierra Denali but seems to ride better. Maybe because of the 22 inch wheels on the Denali. The Titanium Rush color looks great and does not look purple in person as I feared it would. Really glad I picked that color. The interior is absolutely fantastic. Totally exceeded my expectations. I paid MSRP for the truck and the dealer is one of the few around here that does not charge a market adjustment. Also they don't order a truck unless they have an allocation for it unlike some other unscrupulous dealers. Mauer GMC and Chevrolet in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota has been great. This is my fourth vehicle from them and they never disappoint. View attachment 1449View attachment 1450
Do you have any other picture of the titanium rush in direct sunlight? Looks good in the pictures here. I have it on order. Was concerned about it looking purple after watching all the you tube videos...... Fingers Crossed!!

Ordered my AT4 in January, built week of 5/2 and has been sitting in Mexico at a port awaiting shipment. From there who knows how many more transfers before it gets to my dealer in FL. Its been a Long wait! Since built after all the shortages, I am looking forward to a complete truck. Patiently waiting.
