This is in no way, shape or form legal. It violates the clean air act.can someone share a story link to this becoming legal? thanks
Ok, not being a Karen, lol, but Youtub is loaded recently with EPA talk and delete etc. Wonder if they ever really will. ThanksThis is in no way, shape or form legal. It violates the clean air act.
If and when it comes from the factory with less emissions then yes it will be legal. Never ever in our lifetime will it be legal to bypass, modify or delete emissions on a highway legal vehicle. Guy do it and get away with it. Just don't get caught.Ok, not being a Karen, lol, but Youtub is loaded recently with EPA talk and delete etc. Wonder if they ever really will. Thanks
Once tuned, your derringer and pedal monster won’t be needed. I would simply just sell as a package deal to someone.Congrats! I'm new to the truck/diesel family, but am excited to drop some weight myself. It'll probably be after my warranty expires though.
I added the Banks Derringer and Pedal Monster. If I were to go through this process, would this negate the Derringer, since it's a tuner? I'm guessing the pedal monster would still be usable?
Manufactures probably won’t get rid of emissions components, but the legality of doing the “delete” yourself….will change soon enough. The EPA is already loosening up on fines. My truck spends about 80% of its life on lease roads, so I’m not too worried about it.Ok, not being a Karen, lol, but Youtub is loaded recently with EPA talk and delete etc. Wonder if they ever really will. I’ll see if I can upload a short video.Sound clip please!
