What did you do to your AT4 today?

I’ve heard that ceramic coat is great, and durable, but still has to be removed and reapplied regularly. I’m sure the durability depends on climate and other variables, but does it typically last a couple months? Six months? When it’s time to remove it and replace the old with a new coat does Dawn dish soap remove it easily?
As the others have stated, the ceramic coat can last several years depending on storage and weather. Mine is parked outside, so I use a ceramic detailer spray with every way to keep it fresh and my detailer will do a touch up annually.

I dont believe dawn will remove the ceramic coating. From what I've read, you need to use a polisher to get down to clear coat properly. This is the only way to get 100% off for a new coating.

All new black hardware for my Dimondback HD cover. Looks so much better.

I like it and made note of your black hardware. I had ordered the cover without cleats installed from factory and packed separately for installation when/if I get an ATV

I still like the HD cover without the cleats. However I have owned this cover since 2015. The chrome hardware on it was killing me so called Dimondback and they had all the black updated hardware, so i ordered it. Wasnt super $$$ and the updated look is soooooooo much better.

Alright, jumping on. Got my 6.2 1500 AT4 about a month ago. So far I’ve done all the ‘bro’ things lol. New Fuel Rebel 20x9 wheels, Bed Cover, black fender vent emblems, black AT4 decals, removed the sierra, GMC overlays, and a Grille overlay (not sure I like this, but can’t find a better option to black it out) …. Here’s where she sits today…. Next up Bilstien 6112/5160 and some bigger tires and black exhaust outlets.

Ditch lights…
On those SDHQ mounts, where do the lights end up sitting looking head-on? Been playing with the idea of ditch lights and I'm hoping for a mount that has them line up with the A pillar when looking from the front.

Where did you get the GMC emblem on the grill and the 6.2L fender badges?

There are two holes on the top of each bracket. My lights are in the outboard mount, which is a round hole. The more inboard mount is more like an oblong slot, so the lights could be moved an inch or more inboard of where mine are. I'll try to get a picture when I get home.

They sit in front of the A pillars.

Thanks for the pics! In the second it looks like the light is out a little past the side of the truck. From the inside pic this seems to work well to not obstruct view, I was just hoping the side of the light would be flush with the side of the truck looking down it (pretty much having the bracket bend the opposite direction).
I found another mount that stays more inboard but it looks about half the thickness of the SDHQ and I'm not interested in bouncing lights.

The SDHQ mounts are very stout, well made, and secured. Would recommend them to anyone.

Here’s the head-on shot of mine. I could move them inboard about an inch if the passenger-side light won’t interfere with the radio antennae. I didn’t remove antennae to test fit my light, but it would be very close. A smaller light might achieve the look you want, but it still wouldn’t be centered on the A-pillar.

The black, backlit, GMC emblem went on yesterday. Now the only thing left to fix is the Duramax emblem. I think I’m going to wait on that, as I’m not sure I prefer the fix.
