Got that one today. Installed. Cant tell anything different at this point

***661.10 allows the exterior cameras to be enabled by gm to collect license plate, speed, location, time, etc, info from surrounding vehicles sent to gm which will be stored in some data center and shared with their partners and when appropriate with authorities.
By my understanding of the legal jargon is Flock and leo agencies.
So in essence you are now a mobile flock camera(s).***

It will probably be found out that the cell signal is still enabled with onstar with us not paying data, just gm gets to use it!
Any way of finding/testing if a vehicle has a connection to something or broadcasting all the time? Like using a tool/gizmo to find a hidden microphone/bug in Hollywood movies?

I don't keep up on tech, how does Flock transmit? A gm car drives by a flock camera and data is transmitted? Who the hell knows what's out there. I just play in the dirt.

gm has something called "cabin glance". I haven't found out when it will be ota. gm says it doesn't collect data, but gm didn't say it doesn't transmit data (to someone/where else). Yeah, I wear a tinfoil hat made out of aluminum foil.

This is why I keep working on a 1973 International Loadstar. Some day it will be the only vehicle I will feel "safe" and free to drive.
