What did you do to your AT4 today?

Didn't do anything for the truck since all uninstalled mods are packed away, inticipating our move to NV (after our home sells) , however, I packed grease into wheel bearings of my 10'x5' 3500lb axle aluminium trailer by Mission Trailers. Probably done less than a 1000 miles on the trailer in the last eight years, and even though tires look new, be replacing both tires, plus ordering a spare wheel and tire for the final 1200mile truck/trailer journey from Blaine WA to Las Vegas NV. The light load will be my collection of large/medium/small RC planes. too precious and delicate to trust to movers.

Can't wait for that day to arrive. Fellow forum members, please pray for us, we can't wait to move to be close to our son and 'his future family'. We'll be swapping greenery, ocean and mountain views to the desert landscape and perhaps no views at all.
Good luck on your trip. I live in B’ham for 5 years. Beautiful place. Not sure if it’s still there, but the Peace Arch cafe in Blane was one of my favorites. Their On the Border candied bacon sandwich was delicious.

I now live in the mountains in New Mexico. Very green and beautiful but I miss the water.

Peach Arch Cafe is still there and downtown Blaine is getting prettier by the day. I'll always miss the ocean; be trading it to being in the desert which I love too. Looking forward to fishing in the lakes near Las Vegas; here too much of my time is consumed by maintaining our lawns, shrubs, roses etc. It sure does look very pretty but its time to move on to the desert look.

Fair enough. Desert landscape is nice too. We are currently at our favorite resort in Tucson and we love the landscape here. Wouldn’t mind owning a house here with a pool.

After bringing home a yard of soil I spent an hour trying to wash out all the loose soil that made it's way into the Multipro tailgate. I think I got out 90% or so just blasting it our with the hose spray, but I may need to remove the panels to get it all out.

I won't make that mistake again.

Picked up my truck from the dealership. They're waiting for approval from extended warranty to order the cac pump. I told the lady that if they don't, order it anyway, and I'll replace it myself. Seems pretty straightforward from what I have read.

Coolant control valve? I recently had to reposition the upper radiator hose clamp to the CCV. Whoever replaced it put the clamp crooked and coolant was leaking. I went in from the top. I had to remove the baffle/slotted cover where the hood latch is in order to slide the snorkel off the air box. Only way to be remove the air filter box. Once you do that, the CCV is accessible. That’s in addition to removing the tire and well wheel cover. Good luck.

Unfortunately, no. At least the ccv is covered under GM's new bulletin. This is the charge air cooler pump. It's right in front of the left wheel on the bottom part of the frame. I'm guessing constantly being in the salt isn't helping. From what I see, It looks like more a poorly designed electrical connection to it that gets all corroded. If they can't get it covered under extended, i'll just do it myself and at least I'll know it's done right.

Got a call from the dealership. Truck goes in the 9th for cac pump replacement. All covered under extended warranty.
I'm still struggling to decide whether to purchase an extended warranty; have until next month to decide. Following clearing initial gremlins, the truck has been faultless now at only 13800 miles since new. I could save the$3000-$5000 on extended warranty and hope for the best.

I usually never get one, but I've always bought new vehicles. I bought this truck used with 25k miles on it because I couldn't find what I wanted new. Reading all the possible issues on the 1500's (especially with the duramax) is why I bought it. Had I bought it new and known I wasn't inheriting someone else's headache, I probably wouldn't have purchased one, but that's just me.

Today I picked up Bertha from the detailer. Paint correction, ceramic coat, & window tint.

Im totally going to get an extended warranty. Nothing on this vehicle looks to be cheap if and when it breaks.
