What did you do to your AT4 today?

I did the same mudflap deletes and they do work however I wish they curved back a tad earlier as I still get a little touch at partial turn.... I have a set of 1" lower strut spacer and have been contemplating installing them. I have heard it can effect the ride negatively and I would add to the CV angles. How do your angles look? Thx!!!
I get a very slight rub occasionally. I noticed it once on passenger side when had the wheels turned right as I backed up into a hill of a driveway to turn around. I want to see if I can somehow shave off like a half an inch of the very corner of the delete caps. The lower spacers definitely dont feel like they have been detrimental to the ride at all. Keep in mind though that the added bit of preload probably is actually helpful for me. Between the DV8 bumper and the winch, i now have over 200lbs more weight on the nose. As far as the CV angles go, you can definitely see a downward slope of the axles and lower control arms, but it doesn't look too bad. I haven't used any mode of 4WD yet though. The snow had gone for the season and I haven't been offroad yet. Time will tell on that. I suppose it could possibly shorten the lifespan of the axles, but it doesn't look like there's a chance of any binding. The angles are not drastic. I will take some pics tomorrow if I remember and post them.

This is in a fairly well lit garage and the difference is still visible in photos. It really does cast a LOT of additional light to the front of the cab as well. I forgot to take pictures of that. I really, really hope they make an upgrade for the front. They have stated they are working on it, or at least entertaining the idea. That one will most likely be substantially more expensive, but for something that will probably be plug and play, it would be worth it imo.
Do you have a link for the light? Looks great

That's good to hear! Yes some pictures of your front end set up would be awesome! Maybe of the lower strut spacer and the overall shot of the front end CV angles. Also, what is you front height, center of hub to bottom of wheel well? Thank you!

Poor lighting with cloud cover so this is the best I could do. It was difficult to try to get a better view of the lower spacer with the wheel on. Hopefully at least some of this is helpful to you.

Had to borrow a kit because my positive terminal came off. Anyone have a good recommendation for a small truck toolkit to keep in the AT4X AEV don’t mind spending money for good tools in fact I don’t want a Home Depot option. I have full shop in my garage but that’s not going to help out there and I don’t know what I need or what’s available.

Thx,
Sean.

Starting from scratch today. Just traded my 2021 in for a 2026 in Coastal Dune. Loved the Duramax, happy to do that again. Blacked out logos and badges are on back order from GMC so have to take it back next week to have those installed. Kept my old tires and rims. Leveling kit appt coming soon. I learned a lot from this forum. Especially regarding the tires and rims.

That height measurement is on center line of hub, but from the ground up. Could be off a little as I was by myself measuring and taking pic simultaneously @SmittysAT4
That's great! Thank you for the pics!! I may have to install my Lower strut spacer after all. How thick is yours and how much lift did you net from it? Thx again!!

I never measured the actual thickness of it but it's between 3/4 and 1 inch. Like a dummy, I forgot to take height measurements before adding stuff. But the spacer is advertised as 1.5 inch of lift. It's not a 1:1 ratio with the thickness because of suspension geometry. So my guesstimate based on advertised numbers is 1.2" from bilstein 6112's on highest circlip, 1.5" from the lower spacer. Also I did the 3 inch block in rear to maintain level. So 2.7" in front and 1" rear. Plus about 1.5" from the 35 tires. So altogether approximately 4.2" front and 2.5" in rear on top of the factory 2" lift
