What did you do to your AT4 today?

Well , I found out my landscape trailer does not hook up to this truck . No 4 pin on the truck . Used it anyway .
Thanks to the inner web for this tid bit …. GM sells a seatbelt extender for full figured folk ! I’m not that full figured where I need it for that BUT it does shut off the damn seatbelt chime !!!! It’s about 8” long , tuck’s nicely under the seat . And the mobile app had it for .25cents delivered to my dealer !!!!

You just needed to go to your dealer, they have them in stock and you would have saved 25 cents! 🤣
Now go out there and cut the damn webbing off it!

Ha ! I did call , but my dealer didn’t have one . I’m not sure I want to cut it yet . But that’s a great idea .

Today I also had my local muffler shop take the garbage can off the bottom of my truck . That thing must be heavy as it sure made some sound when it hit the floor . I have not looked at the receipt to see the maker but they ordered it for me last week . Now I have some nice noise and no drone .

Installed 12,000lb winch and new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 35x12.50r17 tires and 17" Massiv Offroad OR5 (zero offset) wheels. I removed the mudflap bracket behind front tires but still had a slight rub. I looked into mudflap delete kits, and saw that the Rough Country kit requires cutting a slight bit off of the corner of the fender, exactly where my rub is. The rub only happens at partial wheel turn. Plenty ( well over a full inch) of clearance at full lock. Since I decided on that kit and knew I'll be cutting that piece tomorrow, I just pulled back the liner temporarily with a zip tie and bashed that corner in with a hammer to stop the rub🤣. I will absolutely be painting the cut off edges before I put the delete caps on. This is the perfect amount of poke out for my liking. And man.... she looks like a truck now! The 265/65/R20 stock setup was way too much wheel, and not enough tire. I'm very happy! Oh, also I added lower strut spacers for an additional 1.5" of front lift on top of the 1.2" I got from the Bilstein 6112's, and swapped the factory rear 2" blocks for 3" blicks to maintain level. And added TMAT truck bed organizer system (no pics). Don't mind the P.o.S. Fords in some pics. Those are company trucks! Lol

I installed similar lights on my AEV bumper; which ones did you go for? I can't make out but which shackles are you using in front?
The lights are Strands Dark Knight Fortex (obviously amber, but the make red for the drl part too) and the flood/spotlight function is color temp selectable. I chose 5000k I believe. There's 3 temps, I picked middle. They are insanely bright! The shackles are DV8 brand and have some bushing that keep them from flapping around

Idk why I thought that comment was for me @pinebaron my bad
Yes it was a comment for you which you answered thanks. I was more curious about your shackles since the six ton shackles I have don't fit in the front due to being close to the winch. Instead I also have soft shackles for the front should I need them.

Added a PPE rear differential cover and a Roto Pax bracket in the bed.

Added BDS Recoil traction bars:

Definitely helps eliminate tire spin, and doesn’t effect the ride to the extent of traditional ladder bars.

If you think those bars are helping you from tire spinning, you're not giving it enough coal after the installation.

Now, if'n you meant to type, "axle wrap", or maybe some call it axle spin, I will agree.

Ladder bars have zip, zelch, nada to do with keeping a tire from spinning. Actually ladder bars would increase the likelihood of having a tire spin. As in all of the horsepower that is making torque, is being applied to the wheel and not into twisting the axle, under hard acceleration.

Anyway, they look boss! Now go out there and give it the beans!

Signed, old gear head.

Yeah, I probably could have worded that better. Helps with loss of traction from wheel hop, which is a direct product of axle wrap.

The best description I can give is that the power delivery feels much smoother. I’m pleasantly surprised that there’s not a hard-tail feeling similar to true old school ladder bars. I think that’s the big benefit of the spring-loaded Recoil system. I’ll report back once I have an opportunity to tow with them.

I did the same mudflap deletes and they do work however I wish they curved back a tad earlier as I still get a little touch at partial turn.... I have a set of 1" lower strut spacer and have been contemplating installing them. I have heard it can effect the ride negatively and I would add to the CV angles. How do your angles look? Thx!!!
