Welcome to AT4forum.com - Introduce yourself!

Hello from Louisiana! This is my first Non-Ram vehicle since 2001. Need an HD truck maybe 6 times a year and most of my trips are short, so picked a gasser.
That being said, Ramforums was very busy. Is there another Sierra forum(s) I should be reading?
Most of the discussions on the AT4 I found in FB groups. The Toyota Tundra forums when I had my Tundras were always hopping but they had been established for years.

Hey guys, Just picked up a new 23 carbon pro Duramax a week ago. Ordered and waited 3 months from Laura GMC in IL. Got 2200 miles on her in a week and what a dream truck this is for me. Here's a couple of pics crawling up to 12k elevation at Mt. Taylor and the Jimenez mountains in norther New Mexico.

Mine came from there too. Love it as well. Had since Good Friday of this year.

Hi All,

I have been reading through the forums since April. I really enjoy reading and learning about these trucks and the modifications. This is my 1st GMC (2nd PU, had a 2017 Ram Sport for about 2 years).
Ordered: 4/7 (dealer already had the allocation from the day prior)
Accepted: by GMC 4/13
TPW: 5/22 (@ Indiana)
Delivered: 6/15
Picked Up: 6/17

This was after waiting a year for an allocation for a Suburban Z71 and then I had placed an order for A Yukon XL AT4 6.2L, waiting for an allocation, which did not come until 6/8. As much as the wife wants the Yukon, the truck was on the way, and decided to wait for the 24 refresh, hoping the LZ0 will be available in the Yukon XL.

I have a list of stuff I want to do, when I have the means to accomplish them. So far just have the hard folding tonneau cover and waiting for the black emblems as they are on back order. Dealer had swapped out the standard high clearance for the Sport steps.

As for my big dreams for the truck:
  • ReadyLift SST 2" Kit
  • Nitto Recon Grapplers either 285/60/R20 or 275/65/R20; don't want to have to trim
  • Fuel Offroad Reaction (Black w/red) 20x9 (offset TBD)
  • Chrome Delete
  • S&B Cold Air intake
  • Amp Power steps
  • swap out the Shocks based on the feedback about the Ranchos, leaning toward Bilstein
  • Putco Blade (or Freedom) LED Tailgate Light Bar
  • AVS Aerocab Marker Lights and Lightshield Pro (color matched)

Howdy there new member from Texas. Just got a 1500 AT4 with the 3.0 diesel in the sterling metallic color. I have about 1500 miles so far and all is great!

New member currently doing my best to be patient as my truck seems to be stuck in shipping purgatory. 2024 3500 duramax that was built in June. Vinview shows it still sitting in flint unfortunately. Luckily I know the truck will be worth it once it gets here.

The unknown waiting period is the worst, but as you said it will be worth it once delivered!

Last year, mine was supposed to take 6-months to be delivered and then was delivered 8-weeks later. It felt like forever at the time, but looking back it really wasn't.

What up everyone. I'm from North Idaho and just bought a 2021 GMC 1500 AT4 with the 3.0 Duramax. Looking forward to seeing what upgrades you are doing and thoughts on your rigs.
