Tool Box In A Carbon Pro

I believe the cargo hooks are 250 pounds each. I've no idea if that is rated for both horizontal and vertical loads, but I can't image you are creating more than a hundred pounds of net load unless you cranked those turnbuckles down like the hulk.

I just bought a slim craftsman toolbox from lowes, drilled holes in the slanted underside of the rail, and ran the J-hooks through those. The carbon fiber is a mat weave so its omnidirectional (wont lose strength with a hole in it) and no corrosion concerns.

Just be careful when you drill the holes because its a tough material that will catch your bit and spin your drill.
