I get the crackling too. Noticed it immediately after recall/update. GM knows and is working on it. Not much else we can do but wait.
Whats your number? HahaI had the update done yesterday however havn't had a phone conversation on it since.
Well the Haha is on me. Following recall work yesterday, I discovered the tech left a loose bolt in the tailgate, forgot to connect power cable to one of two led lights on the tailgate Kicker panel. I know they had to remove it to install a new tailgate switch, plus they forgot to connect the stereo input cable from the USB/audio connector, also on the tailgate (I never use it but thats besides the point). For the first time my amazing dealer screwed up; I corrected the mistakes this afternoon. I realized when I opened the tailgate this afternoon when I heard a bolt like rattle sound from within. I lodged a complaint with the SA I know so well, he was so embarrassed; I'm the last guy they want to mess with, I'm so particular about things done right.Whats your number? Haha
Welcome.Just purchased a new 2024 AT4x AEV edition in November. Noticed the crackling driving home. Took it to Service and they said GM would have a fix in January they hope and to check back then. I will call them tomorrow.

I'm not holding my breath that they'll have a fix this quickly after everyone's time off for the holiday, but keep us posted.Just purchased a new 2024 AT4x AEV edition in November. No issues even following the update; phone calls a crystal clear even though most were from time wasting recruiters.Whats your number? Haha
Welcome.Brand new 25 AT4 and am experiencing the same issues with phone calls on my android phone. I have no issues with my phone on other vehicles.
I think I managed to fix the issue by going the bluetooth settings on my phone for the tuck and disabled the ‘Allow access to contacts and call history’. Once I did this the next time I connected to my truck and made a phone call it was crystal clear and had no drop outs like before.

Not sure if this will fix it for others or not, but thought I would mention what seems to have worked for me.
