What's new

New Titanium Rush AT4 2500

That weld joint looks disheartening. Is that a buckstop or a sister trailready bumper? Buckstops website shows no edges... edges all flush and smooth. I know it's a '23 and older version. Maybe they don't have the bugs worked out on the refreshed.

It also shows the winch door latch. Maybe they forgot to send? 🤷‍♂️

The light pockets look more "filled in" also. Like it has a filler plate?

Thank you for the write up!

Also, I'm assuming those big holes on the face is for air to the intercooler. Did you have to remove the scoop?

I have no clue until I receive it, but I'm thinking of welding 2" flat strap to the inside of those there holes, for a foot rest. Looks like my boots would fit in there and become a step.

Its a Trailready.... but there is no excuse for the new change to welding... its not a refreshed thing. its laziness. my 2019 trailready had smooth transitions....

No latch on my 2019 either. Thats a "stock" photo. They forgot a latch twice now? Notice the light buckets are rectangular, they are now square on mine. There was a filler plate on my 2019, but not now and I'm guessing they are cutting corners / cost..

Once the get back to me on the hooks not being drilled, and the welds, I'll ask about the fillers and latch...

Yes the openings are for flow... Yes I removed the scoop, you'll need to for a winch. Also the scoop is held in place by the oem brackets that are removed for the buckstop brackets... you could fab something but not needed...

You're a Duramax, but flow will be fine.. the trans cooler is still right behind the bumper, yes? On my 2019 the winch sat right up to the cooler, but there is plenty of airflow... A 12-13000 winch is about all the room before it rubs the cooler. On a gaser a 16K might fit...

You wont need a flat strap, I've stood in mine. even in sneakers, doesn't dig in for the short amount of times.

Got myself a thumb cam latch for the winch access cover plate from mcmaster-carr. For the $20 it should have been included. They're getting cheap

Looks pretty evil at night, this is on the remote start so it's only the driving lights and the running lights

I like what you purchased. It looks better than the chrome one on their site!

Pardon my ignorance but I’m not following what this is.

It's a plate/access cover that covers up the top of the winch. It's for the new front bumper he bought, painted, and installed.
