I paint the mounts myself, (and you don't see them) just one less thing for my painter... He color matched the inside of the last bumper, so I assume he'll do the same... Doesn't matter either way, he still has to mix paint... I'm guessing the cost will go up, but he only charged me $500 for the last one...

Lift kit installed. RC 3.5 kit with 2" blocks in the rear. Hard to see in the pics, but its a big difference. Very little rake for now... The bumper will fix that.

I know you don't have to worry about it, but there looks to be plenty of space for the block heater receptacle for the oil burners.

Anywhere is better than down in the mud/snow like it is now.

On my previous truck with the Duramax I mounted the block heater and a trickle charger connection in one of those open ports on the front of the bumper

Air bags installed . Airlift 5000. I don't worry about left to right, so they are installed on a single line. Mounted the Aux fill under fuel door. Tied into my compressor and installed the controller in my tool box... I don't use them a lot but like to have them. I set them and forget them when towing / loaded, so no need to run all the lines into the cab.

Awesome. I purchased an additional block heater receptacle and harness to install on the bumper for use with an external wheeled charger/trickle charger. Also got a second I’ll be installing this shortly once I finish installing other accessories.

I would consider an onboard charger mounted under the hood with your block heater receptacle. Would be very clean and just need an extension cord.

I thought about that and decided against an onboard charger, installing in an already tight underhood space, about waterproofing etc.
The external charger is powerful and offers better control of charging current, high 40A, low 6A, trickle charge etc. and I get a visual of voltages, current and charge mode etc. I also have another battery reconditioning charger, basically gives me options on which type of charger I use. Additionally, the 12V bumper receptable can also substitute as a 12V source for input/output if need be.

Picked up my bumper from paint. Got the winch in place.

It'll probably be a while before I get the bumper mounted. I'll need a full nice day to strip the OEM bumper, remove the wiring harness for the lights and sensors, get them in the new bumper and then reinstall the new bumper. My truck is too big for the garage, I can nose it in only... So I will be waiting for a day off and it happened to be at least above freezing to get this done.
