New AT4X HD owner here.

What's up with the painters tape all over the concrete floor? Are you using your side view cameras to pull in straight?
Thats exactly what it is; a training aid to help me drive the truck straight in using front camera with side view mirrors retracted. Garage door is 18' wide and I have my benz reverse parked close to the left side wall and the truck face in all the way up to within a couple of feet of the end garage wall. From the front, I have to turn the truck right into the garage while avoiding the benz with the front left of the truck. The truck cameras showing the forward path/curve are so useful to me, technology helps I guess. With the garage doors closed, I can still fully open the truck tailgate with space to walk behind it and also enough space in the front to walk around it. This position allows me to fully open truck doors without hitting the benz.

It was my choice to use the left double garage, which is harder to drive into with this long truck since I prefer my wife uses the right double garage which also has a gym area and steps and door leading into the home.

My truck has zero vibrations. Tracks very straight on the highway. I bought it south of Salt Lake and drove it about 350 miles back home to Jackson, WY. I have also taken it on a couple mile hunting trip and no vibrations or tracking issues. Interestingly after picking it up at the dealership about 150 miles into my drive home I noticed the steering wheel is slightly out of vertical when I am driving straight. It is not due to the crown of the road or wind. I can let go of the steering wheel and it drives smooth and straight it is just probably 2 degrees counter clockwise from twelve oclock. I have been planning on taking it in to see if the dealer can just adjust it. Only problem is the nearest GM dealership is 100 miles away.
I have that exact issue with the steering wheel. Didn't notice it on the test drive, but after I purchased and drove it 60 miles home, I noticed that it is not straight. I called the dealer and they said they would look at it, but I haven't taken it back yet. Have you taken yours in yet and if so, were they able to center it back up?

I have not taken it in yet. It is only mildly annoying to me and the closest dealership is about 2 hours away. I will have them take a look at it when I take it in for service.

My wheel alignment was very very slightly off; did not have any issues but just wanted it to be perfect. Was under 1000 miles and dealer did it for me.

Pickup my 2024 Gasser today and Have 2 questions
1) what is the break-in mileage (500?)
2) do you have to run premium gasoline?

I’m 7000 miles in on my 24 gasser HD and I can say I’m pleased with the mileage now. I got 14.5 mpg average on a 300 mile trip running 62 and 77 on the different highways. Also it took about 5k miles to feel broke in to me.
P.S. the highest mileage recorded on a 50 mile stretch was 17 MPG.

Yesterday, my mechanic drove with me and verified a rough stomach jarring ride on some paved highway roads. We returned to his shop and he greased all zerks around the front suspension, including one above the front skid plate, which, no surprise, had minimal grease.
In the meantime I also replaced side markers with smoked side markers; I think they look good. Front passenger side was easiest, followed by front driver side, then the rears install was somewhat painful but I got it done without damaging the vehicle.

I know this is an AT4 forum but can we start a "What did you do to your AT4X today' thread?
I have a 2023 AT4 with 1000 miles and it started bouncing terribly on a paved highway at 65-75 mph. Did greasing the front suspension zerks solve your 'jarring ride'....as it sounds like what I have?

Not particularly, I got marginal relief by reducing tire pressures to 42psi cold all around. Be aware I have Multimatic Suspension on my truck, something I'm not impressed with at all although others swear by it. I'm waiting for someone to release some suitable replacement shocks for it.

My ride is super smooth with multi-matic - it’s like riding in a caddy expect for speed bumps…..I’ve heard the bronco ride from a few people - seems something is wrong

When I test drove an AT4X gasser in January, I swore the ride was softer than my stock 2020 AT4 half ton. That completely sold me and I have an order in. I would prefer the lower height, standard 2500 (even though the looks of the AT4X are so awesome), but X is so much nicer on pavement. Most of us buy HD trucks for the utility, but if you can also have a better daily ride, why not?
