Hello, I also purchased the same truck in Diesel. Have you ridden the truck on freeways/highways? I seem to get a vibration all around if the road surface is undulating. I replaced all tires with just a few hundred miles on them and the problem did not go away. Can you confirm your ride is absolutely smooth or did you experience any vibrations at all.

Good looking truck! What tire pressure are you running?

I tried various pressures on the wrangler MTs from low 40's to 50's up to recommended 55, different front/back etc. and then the same with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires I have now and although these are better overall, lowering tire pressures made it comparitively worse. I also swapped front to back wheels, including replacing with the full size spare, did not help. On a less than perfect road, the vibration is equal from all four wheels and is like all four wheels are in sync with the up/down motion.

Interesting, have you tried taking it in for an alignment?

Nope. One would think a brand new vehicle out of the factory, shipped to dealer one day and picked up by me the next, would be perfectly aligned from factory. I'll have to convince the dealer to perform alignment but need some evidence to prove that. It tracks straight as an arrow but you may have a point. I could take my own measurements from leading/trailing tires edges however will need toe-in settings and that information may need to be dug up. There may be truth in your suggestion. We drove the brand new truck out of the dealership with less than ten miles on it (mostly done by me after signing and verifying the truck was ok to take). We had a 300 mile journey home; the first 100 were uneventful, then the problem started and the next 200 were a nightmare to drive. I blamed the tires, flat spots and all, eventually replacing all tires at my own cost at 600 miles; sure it drives a little better but the riding on corrugated road effect starts when the road is not absolutely perfect.
No vibration at steering wheel, just the whole vehicle bobs up/down say 2-3" (guessing amount) roughly twice per second or perhaps a tad more.

I'm sure that's has to be frustrating. I've read good reviews on the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires.

It might be worth a shot for an alignment, we had a brand new 4runner that had a similar issue and an alignment solved the problem.

That sounds miserable. I’ve got 600ish miles on my AT4X HD and it rides so good, especially compared to my 2006 2500. Could you mount a go pro to a headrest and record it doing this weird suspension bounce?

OP, I meant to post this sooner, but your truck is one GREAT looking truck. Congrats on owning such a great looking HD truck!

I don't live that far from you as the bird flies (I live in SW Montana). Love the vista in the background of your pics. That first pic from the front - damn your truck looks nice, and especially with that WY/MT vista!

I am interested in what kind of fuel MPG you are getting. What size tires/wheels? Any aftermarket lift?

Let me talk to the dealer and check if they'd do it else I'd pay for it.
In the past I have had an experience the vehicle manufacture will automatically cover an alignment within x miles of a new purchase in the even there is an issue. I can only assume your dealer would be glad to perfrom an alignment. Bummer for sure on a new truck, but hopefully that will remedy your issue.

Just purchased a 2024 AT4X AEV edition in thunderstorm grey with the duramax. I live in western Wyoming and have scoured this forum for months. Looking forward to contributing.
Amazing truck and photo. I love this color on the HD's. Probably the best looking truck GMC has every produced from factory... although i will say the new canyon at4x is pretty sweet also.

Good luck with the truck, great to see it offroad.

Its good to hear your ride quality is so good which means theres hope for me. I'll see if I can fire up my old go pro 4 which I have not used in almost nine years.
