New 2024 2500 AT4X

AC Delco is oem correct?

So I'm looking at the bakflip mx4 or the Rev one that gm offers.
Is there much or any difference in the two?
I've got points to use so I could put that towards the rev one. But if the bak mx4 is just a better cover, I don't mind paying for it.
The REV covers are made by BAK Industries. From what I understand, they are equivalent to the BAKFlip G2.
The biggest differences in the MX4 and G2/REV are:
  1. Weight capacity (evenly distributed): 400lbs vs 300lbs respectively
  2. The MX4 has a dual-action rear seal meaning you can have the rear section up OR down when closing the tailgate; with the G2/REV, the tailgate MUST be up before closing the rear section
  3. Price: the MX4 is about $200 more than the G2/REV, though the REV is occasionally on sale and/or eligible to buy/offset the cost with points

Good info. There's about a $200 savings difference for me if I get the rev vs the mx4. But I do like the added features of the mx4. Decisions, Decisions

I've had MX4s on my 2 F-150s and have been very happy with them. The 1st one on my old 2011 didn't have the dual-action rear seal, but the one on my current 2018 does, which is a lot more convenient IMO.
Whichever one you go with, make sure to get a gasket for between the bed and the tailgate when it's closed, otherwise, you'll still get an appreciable amount of dust and dirt (and possibly water) sucked up into the bed of the truck.

It doesn't come with one?

Here's my stats going from work to home. There's no highway and a bunch of stop and go for the first 8 miles.
Not terrible and it will only get better as the motor breaks in.

Unfortunately, they do not, but they're only $25-30.
While double-checking that my memory was correct, I also verified with a RealTruck.com CSR that the REV covers ARE rebranded BAKFlip G2 covers.

OK I have no idea what my phone did with your quote and Why it placed my words up there but the question still applies lol

I don't know what bar you are talking about. That is the stock dash on the 2024 2500 hd at4x

Nice truck KCAT4X! Mine is identical, other than a tommy gate. This is my first diesel as well. I did the Banks iDash. Did a dual pod mount. I like being able to see all the info and the regen status. Another thing I did is add the Banks Pedal Monster. It doesn't add any power but it makes it drive more like my 2020 1/2 ton w/ the 6.2. Both are very easy to install. In my opinion, the way it drives with the Pedal Monster is how they should have come. The factory throttle pedal is too lethargic for me.

How do you like the idash?

I just ordered a rev cover and not the balflip. Hard to pass up when I had over $330 of gmc points to use and there was a 10% off discount code this month on the gmc exterior accessories.

I like the iDash but I like to see numbers. We have a Jaguar F-Type R and it drives me nuts. The only info you can see on the dash is speed, tach, fuel level, & temp (hot/cold no numbers). If I could figure out a way to mount an iDash in there I would. Its nice on the truck. I watch EGT's, boost pressure, fuel rail pressure, Regen ON/OFF and DPF %, and several other things. Mostly just a novelty but I like it. And you can look at and clear check engine codes/lights.
