New 2023 AT4X let the mods begin!

I do have a stubby antenna in my glovebox. The only downside to no antenna is no am/fm radio. Which I normally steam music or podcast from my phone anyway, so unless i forget my phone on the charger or something like that happens I really never need it. Which has happened and why I bought and put a stubby in my glove box.

Does anyone know if they sell any bull bars that will fit the front bumper of the 2023 new bumper style at4x? My truck is due to be delivered soon so i am doing my research and can’t really seem to find any.

I would imagine if there were, it would likely be AEV offering it.
‘You Might call AEV and see what they say.

To my fellow AT4 owners. I recently picked
up my 2023 AT4X AEV addition in titanium rush. Put my few mods that are all cosmetic. Love this rig it is awesome. It replaced my 2022 which was totaled in a head on. Anyway I am in the midwest and have a cabin that requires several miles of open pasture driving so cattle are an issue. I contacted AEV about doing a grill guard attachment to the AEV bumper and was told it would take abt a year if they decided to do it. So I’m asking if you have an AT4or AT4X AEV please con tact them and make the same request. Also has anyone found mudflats for this rig I’ve gone to3 different sets and none fit, my dealer had the same issue with the factory mud flaps, I done a ton of gravel travel. Thanks for any help GMC AT4 warriors.

A company here in Canada (Truck Hardware) is coming out with a set of flaps specifically made for the AT4X. They are expected to be released next month. I don't believe they sell direct so you would need to contact a reseller. Gatorback is their brand.

That’s nice! If you want to put bigger tires and different wheels I guess this wouldn’t work unless u lift the truck a lot

I actually went and talked to my local tire shop guy this afternoon. I am swapping my current wheels and tires, which are Fuel Contra 18x9 -18 offset on 34x11.5 R18 Nitto RG's, for Moto Metal M0970 20x9 zero offset on Nitto RG's 34x11.75 R20 (295/60 R20). I want a bit wider tread, and not as much sidewall. Plus I have had those same Moto Metal wheels before, and liked the look.

I am also getting the 5000lb airlift rear air bags, and I already have the remote control compressor system for the airbags which I will have installed also. Just so my truck doesn't squat when pulling my trailer. I don't expect a difference in MPG with my wheel/tire swap as the new ones are about the same size and weight as I have on my truck now. I have about 8000 miles on my current tires and wheels and my local tire guy always gives me good deals, so I am doing the swap at a reasonable cost.
How did the air bags work out? My At4x sags hard with most of my trailers, especially the 14’ dump. The old timers tell me to add a leaf spring, but leaning toward air bags. Any recommendations on a specific product? Thanks!

They work great. I have used the airlift 5000 bags on my last 3 trucks. On this truck I also installed the airlift mini compressor system to inflate/deflate the airbags wirelessly or via phone app. They make pulling my large job trailer a lot better.

The nice soft suspension on the AT4X absolutely sags too much for pulling trailers. Yes, my rear end is a bit stiffer with the airbags, but for me it is worth it. When not pulling my job trailer, I keep them at 7psi, when pulling the trailer I put 15 to 18 psi in them. It was money well worth spent for me.

Has anyone messed with a LED light bar on their 2023 with the AEV bumper? I’m trying to figure out what to get that would look clean or almost stock. I need something that will be extremely bright mounted up front….

They are very good. Lots of coin, but worth it. When they fill up with ice or mud, you can kick the sh!t out of them to knock it off and they take it. Don't have a AT4x. Here they are on a AT4 HD...

Thank you. Do you have a pic of the whole truck with them on? Trying to decide if I like to look. Thank you in advance
