Honestly I'm a little worried. Just a week ago the dealer told me there was not a VIN. That was wrong, or at least there is a VIN even if they dont have it. There is also one "in transit" on their website that is similar but not right. I sure hope they didnt mess anything up. I have no idea if customer orders show up on dealer sites or not.Bet you're all giddy feeling!
Yes, customer trucks show "in transit" on their dealers website. When you call asking if it's been spoken for, they check and say it's already sold. Atleast during covid.Honestly I'm a little worried. Just a week ago the dealer told me there was not VIN. That was wrong, or at least there is a VIN even if they dont have it. Correct, they do show VIN. I dont have my VIN yet. I'm kind of playing dumb and waiting for an update from the dealer. I won't be waiting long though.Yes, customer trucks show "in transit" on their dealers website. When you call asking if it's been spoken for, they check and say it's already sold. Do you have your vin? I think most in transit's should show the vin on the dealers website.
I wouldn't worry too much, but if you are go to the dealer and ask to see the order. They should show you the order window and you'll see everything you want. Take a picture so when you get back home you can reference things you might not have thought about at the dealer.Correct, they do show VIN. I dont have my VIN yet. I have a PDF copy of the correct order so you are probably right. How do you get the window sticker?I wouldn't worry too much, but if you are go to the dealer and ask to see the order. Another thing to note is not all the info is available immediately it seems. My dealer showed me the order window last wednesday and it said it was at 3400, however they were saying the vehicle was built even though TPW was this week. I have no idea what to believe in that instance. But GMC bot was saying it was set for production. Now GMC bot says its produced. However I don't see a windows sticker yet.

Thanks. I dont have VIN. I've asked dealer for it, will see how that goes.
This didnt work for me, I do have VIN now.
Good info. Thanks.Mine isn't working yet either. I'm not sure how long it takes for that to work. I can't imagine it will take too long, but I bet by the time it ships it will have it.
I assume you ordered at a dealership in San Diego?Read this entire thread, very exciting indeed. I ordered a 3500HD AT4 on March 6th from the Sales Manager, acquaintance of Dad's, and so far he's been very helpful. Emailed me on March 14th that the order was accepted AND targeted for production week of April 15th. He thinks it'll be on the lot early part of May. He originally stated when I ordered it could be up to 4 months, must have been lucky.
My parents live in San Bernardino area and thus the dealership his buddy is at is in Redlands.I assume you ordered at a dealership in San Diego?
I placed an order for a 2500HD on March 2nd
