Missing Chips on GMC Sierras

Mine is the same. Bottom ventilation only missing thing. Heat bottom and back works and ventilation in back works. Hoping it can be resolved before May/June as it gets real hot here in central Texas.

I was told that some trucks are also missing the "module" for the heated and cooled seats so that has to be located and installed along with the chip. Fortunately my truck had the module. You certain that your seats are just not broken or defective? However what your dealer said about the official notice was my experience.

That was my exact experience, the retrofit fixed both cooling and heating for the front seats only. The dealer did not wait fir the letter took the vin and orders the needed parts to complete the retrofit then reprogrammed the trucks computer system to enable both.

Yep. Mine is the same. Fully heated. Ventilated only on the back and not on the bottom yet.

Took my 2022 AT4 to dealer for chip install for heated and ventilated seats and whatever for front camera that worked fine. Was there for a hour. Good to go. Heated and ventilated seats work as they should. Only took 13 months from the time I bought it. Not going to hold my breath for heated steering wheel. I'm 77 years old!!

Got my letter frm GMC and have appointment in 2 weeks. Dealer said it takes about a hour. Glad it has not gotten too hot yet in NC.

Took delivery of my AT4 in late June of last year, without the cooled seats and parking sensors. I received a letter from GM 2 weeks ago that the cooled seat blowers can now be installed by calling my dealer to order the parts. I did that and was told this is a chip and they have been coming in fairly quick. Now, 2 weeks later I am still waiting on their call. Time for me to follow up. Here in Florida, the cooled seats will be welcome. The dealer said they have seen no updates as to the parking sensor chips, for any vehicles.

So, we wait.

Been waiting sense DECEMBER and even called GM and they just don't care, I usually buy new every couple years, but there is a very good chance I will not buy GM again.

Some guy just posted on one of the AT4 facebook groups that he was able to get the parking sensors installed for his 22 limited (non-refresh) model. I called my dealer and they confirmed that the ordering has opened up but that my VIN was not eligible yet. Everyone else may want to call your dealer an see if they give same story and maybe you'll be eligible already!

Just got off the phone with dealership where I purchased. I was able to order the parking sensors. Purchased my at4 March 31, 2022.
