Let's see those AT4 1500 trucks towing!

How has that Pro been treating you? It was a bad road for me.
His last post was like a year ago. Im guessing he is long gone. I was thinking the same thing you were. Ive had a few issues with all my GMs. I just pony up and fix the dumb crap GM puts on these trucks like the OEM Ranchos. I get some have more issues than others but switching to another rig like the TRD is just trading for different problems IMO.

22' Express bay boat, I usually don't tow over 68mph, my oil temps will reach 250-254. The computer sensors will drop my coolant temp drastically when oil temp gets up to 250. My coolant when not towing will run 216 - 224, but I have seen it drop coolant temps to 197 to get oil temps back down.
Oil temps when not towing and at highway speeds (75-80) usually run around 244 with the coolant regulating it down when it gets close to 250. I have never had oil temps over 255.
The highest I have seen trans temps was 202 and that was in Houston idling in traffic for long periods of time.
2021 3.0.
I’m from the houston area as well. Those long slow moving traffic jams are something else man.

You’re right. The greener pastures will wither up fast when he realizes what he got. I’m not a picky person at all, and still was highly dissatisfied with the TRD Pro.

I've been consistently towing with my AT4 since I purchased in 2022. 19' 6.2 CCSB. Truck doesn't even feel my RZR Turbo S and I get 15 mpg towing 150 miles round trip to Ocotillo Wells. Also tow my 22' ski/wake boat to Lake Havasu from San Diego, I average 14.5 mpg there and 12.5 mpg back 600 miles roundtrip maintaining 65 mph. I'd say the boat weighs somewhere around 6500 with 60 gallons of fuel. The last trip out in August outside temps reached 122*F and I noticed coolant temps getting close to 250 so I kept her under 55 mph on the way home. The trailer has surge brakes and make a world of a difference. Trailer brakes are a MUST if towing anything over 5k.
In an emergency I had to tow my brother's 25 foot tunnel hull deck boat back from Arizona to San Diego. Thing probably weighs over 10k and I could definitely feel the increased tongue weight but kept it under 55 mph and it towed just fine. The 6.2/10 speed combo is a dream to tow with.
The only modifications I've done are Bilstein 5100's front and rear with a ReadyLift 1.75" leveling kit and Method 17" 316 with E rated (10 ply) Falken WildPeak A/T3W 285/75/17 (34"). The tire/shock upgrade made towing much more comfortable and stable feeling.

I'm looking to get a 21 foot Attitude toy hauler travel trailer in the next month or so. Dry weight is 5500lbs with 660lb hitch weight, RZR 1700 lbs so should still comfortably be under the tow capacity when loaded up.

First time towing with my 21' AT4. I love the towing technology. Makes towing soo convenient. Averaged about 12 MPG with my 6.2 averaging 75 MPH.

Here's mine with our 2022 Opus OP15.. 400lb tongue weight and about 6000 lbs loaded. This was the first time towing with the AT4 and was happy with the 15 mpg I could get vs the 10 mpg my Tundra got with it. About to start a cross country drive from NJ to CA next Friday.

Towed my dad's Rav4 from KS to TX yesterday. Had the car and truck loaded with boxes. Handled it like a champ. 15 mpg going 75 to 80 mph. Drank the DEF up and had to stop once to fill her up. Already got her washed up this morning. Those midwest bugs are a paint killer.

Hello all,
Recent move from California to Montana, fully loaded 24' weighing in at just over 10k on the trailer axle. I love this truck- 3.0 diesel.
I also installed airbags and used a wd hitch. Definitely earning its keep!
Welcome.

Thanks for the towing pic!
