LED light bars in the grill

Just got mine for my 1500 at4x. High quality, fantastic customer service, and I didn't need to spend all day fabricating a mount. The one below is for your 2500. I'll post pics once I get mine installed.

I don’t see one on their site for a 1500; what am I missing? Thanks.

The one for the 1500 is listed under the silverado. However I spoke to their engineers and owner over there and they said it would fit the sierra. Here is that link.

Did you post installed pics? I searched your posts but couldn't find any. Thanks.

I apologize, I should have replied to my message. I just tried to install this mount 2 weeks or so ago. The mounting bracket for the GMC AT4 1500 won't work on the GMC. It's only for the Chevy 1500 ZR2. The radiator shroud is different on the GMC AT4 then the Chevy ZR2. That being said, GODZ returned the mount, and are working to get one for the GMC engineered and made. They do make one for the GMC 2500 AT4. Once I get an update from GODZ I will update everyone.

I am however going to fabricate my own bracket in the mean time. Once I do, I will provide and update.

Has anyone added any light bars to the areas circled? I just measured the side openings and they are just over 6.5 inches and then the bottom is 23 1/2 inches between the other indents. Wondering if anyone else has taken the grill off to see if any mounting would work. I am thinking about the Rough Country slimline black series for kind of a stealth look. What does everyone think?View attachment 2212
Yes. Minor cutting of the grill.

Do you by any chance have any pictures of how you mounted it?
I was thinking of doing this I just don't know a good structurally sound spot to mount it.

Two custom fabricated (90 degree angle) mounts. Depending on the exact mounting location / your selected light fixture length, will depend on the size of your (2 each) mounts. Most installers / off road truck shops, will be able to figure out a mount suited for your application.

I like how you mounted these. Was thinking about doing the same thing to my 1500. Did you have to trim anything on the grill or the radiator shroud or is it back far enough to clear the grill? I’m assuming that’s a 30 inch light bar?

I did have to trim behind the grill to fit around the mounts, however that is not something anyone would see or notice with or with out the mounts installed. Behind the light there was nothing trimmed, or altered. Yes, its a 30inch light bar. I will be swapping the 30 inch rough country light bar though for two Diode Dynamics lights bars. One white, and the second one amber.
