Has anyone added any light bars to the areas circled? I just measured the side openings and they are just over 6.5 inches and then the bottom is 23 1/2 inches between the other indents. Wondering if anyone else has taken the grill off to see if any mounting would work. I am thinking about the Rough Country slimline black series for kind of a stealth look. What does everyone think?

I have the lower valance for the diesel and the light from rough country to install where your license plate it, but I have not pulled the trigger on the install yet. I did see a company somewhere that make the light for what you are looking for. They make lights for emergency vehicles as well. Let me see if I can find them for you.

Any luck finding them. I’ve found some that are made for headache racks and such and may order a set to see if they fit. Still doing some looking around though. Then the mounting part should be pretty easy from what I’ve seen.

I don't drive at night as much as I used to but I found the stock lighting is fine for me both for straight ahead lighting and the ditch areas. :)

Does anyone have any experience with MPower lights? They aren’t cheap but make a 6x1 that would fit perfectly in the small openings. I haven’t heard of them though so want to check with everyone to see if they are good quality or not.

I would be concerned about restricting air flow through the grill. These engines need cool air and heating them up can't be any good. If you pull trailers, drive on hilly roads or live in the southern states, I would think about it more. Maybe try fitting some styrofoam in the openings for awhile and drive to see if you see any issues. Just my thoughts. I would hate to see problems after spending all that money.

This is the same website as mentioned above. They make a bracket to fit a Baja design S8 20" (single row) in the lower part of the grill. I cannot put one in the lower section since it would block air for the intercooler for the 3.0 diesel. I have a quote from a shop here in town for $900 to remove the grill and install some reinforcement on the plastic section of the grill to beef it up a little, and re-install everything. Haven't pulled the trigger yet... It's like........... How much am I going to use this light. Illegal on the road and could use it on lease roads at night is about it.

So I found a different light with the same dimensions as Baja , but in video he doesn’t show how he mounted brackets, so I seen Baja sells the brackets, so I ordered, they added a 14.95 shipping fee Smh , thinking they would be different, not really, the hole is a little offset then ones I have , I was really looking to see what they had for mounting to plastic Nothing but 2 short and 2 longer cap type bolts for side mount to light, nothing for mounting to plastic. Think I will email them see what they say. I follow up

I had the same thought for my 2022 Refresh. The airflow issue is a legit one, though I feel the grill is so large and open, we might be OK. I then ordered 3 pairs of the 6” rough Country Black series lights, thinking I could just mount them to the grill somehow, but these things are pretty heavy. I feel like a few runs down a washboard road would wind up doing damage, so really feel they would need a solid metal bracket mounted to other solid metal structures behind the grill. I am returning them and reconsidering the 20” light bar mounted low behind the grill similar to the video overview posted in here.

My 2015 with RC light bar. It worked great! I had an epic road trip to UT and other western states a couple years ago. This light bar was essential for after dark driving. I would love to hear solutions for my 2024 HD. I still have this light bar. RC may have a bad rep for suspension but I have been very pleased with their lights.
