Hiding Wires For A Dash Cam

I believe I used fuse 25 and 26 in the passenger fuse box .

25 is for the Spotlamps (constant ) and 26 is for the USB ports (ignition switched)

It works great on my Rove3 dash cam and parking mode works .

You will need 2 micro3 fuse taps .
Thank you for replying. For the dash cam, how did you end up running the wires? Were you able to push them into the moldings, or did you have to take parts off?

Just tucked them inside the headliner above the windshield which was very easy . Then pull out passenger side weather strip door molding that leads to fuse box . The molding comes off and goes on very easily .

The hardest part of the whole process was finding the appropriate fuses to tap.

Thank for the info. I really appreciate it. I feel a lot better about doing it now. The fuse part is actually my strong point. Getting there worried me.

It all went well. I got both my dash cam and radar detector wired in. I tested all the fuses in that box and only that one was accessory. Strange.
Because there was only one accessory fuse, I had to make a Y connector to feed the radar detector, and the parking feature of the dash cam. I tested amperage draw and it was minimal.

Thanks again.

This is all great info!
Does anybody know which is the hazard light fuse?
I just hardwired a Blackvue 970x to the passenger fuse box but the manual says the BATT+ cable must be hooked up to the hazard light fuse to use the battery saver feature in parking mode...

I don’t think you have to use the hazard light fuse. They are probably just saying that to make sure you use one with power 100% of the time, which is almost every fuse in that passenger side box. Use that #25 fuse. It’s the one for the interior lights. It always has power, and supplies nothing critical or power-hungry.
