GM to issue tailgate dropping recall. Now includes some 1500's. Turned into a STOPSALE.....

How do you now open the tailgate?

The panio key on the dash or the key fob.

But I would assume the midgate is now un-openable, if'n they cut both switch wires.

2021 AT4 1500 Got my letter today, dealer will advise when new swtiches are available. Nothing to date to fix it..
