Front Mounted Winch Recovery Techniques

I'm all for winches as when it's needed you won't regret the winch but I would say invest in a good set of traction boards as well. Being in the off road industry I've seen traction boards be very useful and a good set is relatively cheap and withstand a beating.
Have more recovery gear than I may ever need, comeup winch, Actiontrax traction metal teeth boards, ULTRA snatch block pulley, Yankum 1" kinetic rope, heavy duty shackles, Factor 55 HitchLink, Gear America Shackle block and Mega Tree saver strap, AEV extention towing strap etc. I may never get to use any of this however want to be prepared for most situations before snow gets here or in BC Canada where we frequently travel to, even during extreme winter conditions.
I'm in process of adding Molle panels etc. to secure all this gear in the truck bed.

I may not know what I'm talking about, but I only see tow hooks since the front is covered by skid plates and tow hooks are to the inside of tires.

That is a shame. If'n you are going all in, you need a pair of scotch blocks. I don't know how they would work at a angle.

I'm scrambling to order any new stuff before its not a good time to order. I think the list of recovery gear is now almost complete. Getting there !

Thank You very much! Closeups will be a great help, particularly for the hi-lift jack clamps and also how you tied its handle :).
Yeah just two simple bungee cords to keep things tied down and so they dont move around.
