Foxbeam AT4 1500 Fog Lights

I am thoroughly impressed with the DD SSC2 SAE Pro lights. It's been over a year now and I haven't had a single issue with the lights. I really should add some aftermarket fogs to my HD too.
What lens did you order? there are a few. The ones I see that are SAE are driving/combo and the SAE fogs. I got the fogs and my output doesn't look nearly as bright as yours.

I never asked, but what lens did you get for your fogs? I'm assuming it's the combo lens? I bought the SAE Fog and I feel like they are brighter than factory, but not a crazy amount.
To be honest, I'm not sure which lens they are. I'm assuming they're SAE Pro fogs, but it was whatever was sold with the Foxbeam brackets at the time.

Are yours the Sport or Pro model, or does that not exist for the SAE fogs? Mine are the Pro version of whatever lens I have - I had to run an aux 12V jumper to ensure they had enough power.

I have the Pro's as well, but the sae fogs which are apparently not as bright. Sucks they don't have them listed anymore off FoxBeam, but here are the options. You had to choose one whenever you bought them.

I actually did the same thing you did after I saw what you did. I have the boost mod as well. If you get a chance take a picture of the lens. I'll be able to tell what kind it is pretty easily.
Thanks,

I'll get a pic later today for you. I can't recall what mine are. I don't think I had an option to choose when I ordered them. I looked at the order from Foxbeam, and that doesn't help either lol.

Yeah I looked at mine too and noticed it doesn't say anything. But thanks, I want to get a new lens for mine. I feel like the SAE Fog isn't making me happy.

Well went to change out my lens's on my fogs and noticed that both brackets had a tab that hold the fog lights broken off and the lights are just hanging off one. I didn't tighten these up almost at all and it doesn't look like the plastic is squished to show the sign that I just overtightened them, but now I have to go back to factory until I can get replacement brackets. :( what a day. I'll have to switch them out later as I don't have time today, but boy this is a disappointment for sure.

For the price I would expect better quality, I wonder if that's why you can't find these for sale any longer?

I'm wondering the same. I only found one other company offering them. I've messaged them hoping someone would just sell me the brackets. If not, I'll have to fabricate something myself, which is going to definitely be a Frankenstein build. Just sucks that I have to remove all this and start trying to figure out a solution.

Yeah same here! I just tried to adjust mine today as one was facing down a bit and it turns out the bracket is broke in half on one of the arms. I just reached out to Foxbeam to see if they will warranty them since it's been less than a year. Will follow up if they will. Other than that the lights have been awesome.

yeah that's how mine broke off as well. They told me that it was because I didn't tighten them enough and with the vibration and weight of the light it caused it to snap there.

I'm worried that this is going to be a common occurrence though. I've been thinking if there's a way to reinforce these or something. Might see what they tell me and if they do replace, I'll work with the old ones.

For those of you having bracket issues, (discoloration/brittle plastic/broken mounting) Foxbeam was kind enough to send me the .stl file for the Gen1 brackets they no longer offer. I had them printed in Stainless Steel by CraftCloud overseas.

Installed them last night with very little filing of the two fins where the lights mount to the brackets.

Highly recommend as printing state side can be costly and they do printing in tons of different materials!

Nice. Would you pass that file over? I would love to try making one out of aluminum or something.
