I've had that one for about a year, also did it with the S&B cold air intake. I don't care what anyone says its hands down the best sounding vehicle I've ever herd!I just ordered this Borla exhaust from GM. This is a Type-S right? The diagram looks the same as on the Borla website with the small secondary muffler .

You should consider the S&B with the paper filter!
Welcome.I simply cut the muffler off far enough on either side of it to remove the baffles also. Sounds great with the stock resonator packs at the back. Get lots of compliments on the sound also....low and rumbly.
