Just purchased a 2019 at4 with 6.2l. Looking for some exhaust ideas. I don’t want to be drowned out like my 2017 Silverado 5.3 cat back Corsa cat back. I loved the sound but highway speed or down shift the cab was to loud to my liking. I just want alittle rumble to the 6.2! Would like to just replace the muffler to get alitte rumble and be done. Any recommendations or comments much appreciated.

I would recommend the Borla Cat Back exhaust that GM Accessories has on their website. Sound is just right.
I can also recommend a Borla cat back. I have one on my 2015 Silverado 5.3. I did go for the ATAK version, which is the loudest. When towing, I am typically running a bit higher RPM, and the ATAK can get a little loud in the cab. If I had it to do over again, I may go for a little quieter model. But I sure do like the sound of the ATAK. This is the second Borla exhaust . I’ve also had a Magna Flo exhaust. I prefer the Borla!
I got my 2019 back in May and it had the Borla SType system already installed-glad for that! I really like the sound and it's not loud in the cab at all. I jsut put the carbon tips on last week and I also installed the CAI cold air intake. It was very easy as it uses the bottom part of the factory air box. I alos installed the Pulsar which is amazing. Huge difference in power-I run mine on #3. Good Luck!

So I just added the Borla 400436 muffler in hopes that it would match the sound of my 07 GMC that I replaced with same style Borla over 10 yrs ago. It’s actually a little to loud for me. Currently it’s somewhere between the Type-S & the Atak. If I was a still in my youth I’d be happy with the choice. The truck really sounds good, I just wished it was a little quieter in the cab, as I didn’t want to hear anything inside the cab unless I was mashing on it. So for now I’m still looking for a replacement that will soften it up a little. I had hopes of finding a recommendation on something here in the forum.
I just installed the Borla exhaust offered through GM and love it! Perfect pitch for me. @Getchasum - have you looked into Borla's "touring" exhaust option. From my understanding it is quieter than the S-type or ATAK.

Not knowing which system you have it’s hard to answer that question.
It’s my understanding (and I possibly could be mistaken) that you can order all three sound levels through GM…
Touring - Mild
S-Type - Moderate
Atak - Nasty

When I got mine (about 6 months ago) GM only had one that could be ordered thru them. I do not remember which one it was

That is the S-Type. I purchased the same exhaust for my AT4X from GM. You're gonna love it!
