Banks issues

Looking for an update on this as I am getting ready to install my Banks CAI, inlet, boost tubes, all 3 pans, iDash Pro, and derringer. I don't feel like installing "problems" since my stock truck (24 AT4x diesel HD) has had zero issues in 13k miles since new.

This was a huge pain. I’ve been testing an extensive number of tunes. They did notice some obvious abnormalities from my MAF and sent me a new banks MAF dongle that comes with the intake, this solved for 95% of the issues. Oddly enough though when I took the intake off completely it did solve the surging/stutter completely. But with the new MAF adapter in addition some more refined tunes it’s barely noticeable now.

Still working on pulling logs and sending them to banks. Just don’t have a ton of time to do this as I work from home and the truck isn’t my daily.

Man that is frustrating, even with Banks working with you. My wife is sick of our spare room looking like a Bank's warehouse, butI think I will do some more research install. Please keep us all posted and thanks for the quick update post. Best of luck.

I am with you… I just read through the whole thread and then saw your post & my thought was, “brave man.” I’ve been thinking about the same treatment you’re giving yours but I’m a little thrown by this thread…

I get my truck back tomorrow after having the Derringer, Idash pro, boost tubes installed. I already had the pedal monster and MAP sensor relocator, never had issues with it in 3 different trucks. I also had a 7" RC lift and 37's. Will let you know if I have any issues.

I just finally had to remove my ram air on my 2024 2500 At4x Aev due to the surging (40-45, 80-85 mph) making the truck unbearable to drive. I previously had the derringer on as well but took that off a while ago due to the surging/chugging. Also on the truck are Banks boost tubes, turbo inlet, MAP spacers, idash gauges and pedal monster. So frustrating to have spent all this money on basically unusable parts. Has anyone found a fix? I haven’t tried just using the derringer without the ram air and may try that next, but I’ve installed and uninstalled the derringer so many times, I’m kinda sick of it (truck has second alt making the install and removal more difficult). I did see a new firmware that just came out yesterday for the derringer. Anyone tried it and found it to make significant improvements? Been a banks user and fan for a long time, but it sure seems like banks rushed to get a product out that’s far from ready and is disheartening.

Kpaugh - sorry to hear that, but thanks for sharing your experience. Hopefully they get their act together. I don't know if this question should be a new thread but for the owners of 24+ how many of you have the ram air without issues? I'm still holding off on my install. Might just sell my banks stuff on eBay or something.

I have had zero issues with the Banks Ram Air. I likewise have the boost tubes, inlet horn, MAP spacers, Pedal Monster, Derringer, Banks Ram Air transmission, oil pans and rear differential cover. Also had an IDash SuperGage with Dual Pod along with IDash Pro. Once I had everything installed they settled in nicely. My NEXT GEN valve body is inbound.

I have the Banks ram air, MAP spacers & IDash pro. No problems so far. I've held off on the tubes and inlet...for now!

I also would like to know I just traded in my 2024 on a new AT4X but it looks like they do not have an intake for the 26 yet??? I’m glad I didn’t try to swap my old intake to the new truck not knowing they would be different. My real question is has anyone noticed any difference in power or mileage ??? They have enough power to do whatever I want more is always better I am more interested in mileage I put about 18k on my trucks a year and it’s not my DD.
