Hey guys.. I have a 2024 l5p and recently installed the banks derringer, intake, turbo inlet, map sensor spacers, pedal monster and idash setup.
Long story short, I’ve had nothing but issues.. I’ve been working with the banks team to troubleshoot this surging symptom, where the truck feels really choppy under low amounts of acceleration. It’s most notable at around 45-55 mph when you roll into the throttle about 10-15% of the way.. it just starts stuttering/surging.
Most recently I got a range of codes which dropped my truck into limp mode. Most of the codes appeared related to MAF sensor issues. I then dropped the banks bypass plug into the derringer, and surprisingly found the truck is still surging. Thinking this is now actually related to the intake and their MAF adapter rather than the derringer.
Has anyone else experienced this? Starting to go a little crazy in how many weeks I’ve been dealing with my truck feeling so terrible.
