I’ve never heard of plusnuts. I have rivenuts, pretty sure the tool is too large to even fit inside the fender area.Yep, technically plusnuts. Access is decent with the fender liner removed.
Two different ways to do the same thing. Agree with gemarsh, plusnuts flare out a little more and I have found them more forgiving.I’ve never heard of plusnuts. I have rivenuts, pretty sure the tool is too large to even fit inside the fender area.
Thats excellent information. I had issues with rivnutsTwo different ways to do the same thing. Agree with gemarsh, plusnuts flare out a little more and I have found them more forgiving.

My rivnut tool is too short for plusnuts so instead I use this little tool: https://a.co/d/40zuRDC
YesI’m assuming your vehicle is a 1500?
After seeing your build you suckered me into getting the auxbeam switches lol. I’m trying to wire it all up but I’m having trouble figuring out where to fuse tap so I can power to the switches when the truck is in ACC mode. What fuse did you tap into? If possible, could you share a pic please?

2023 GMC Sierra 1500 engine fuse box accessory power location
Looking to wire up my AUX Beam switch panel. Trying to figure out the best ACC "accessory" fuse location. Looking for one that only powers on when the truck is turned on. Been trying to research the correct fuse to tap into in the engine compartment fuse box. Anyone have any advice on which...www.at4forum.com
Right when you power on the truck. I was trying to find one that will turn the switch on when it’s in ACC mode. Can’t seem to find one so #40 will have to do.Taped into the #40 and it only powers on when I start the truck. Works perfectly.
F28 in the passenger side fuse panel does that. Provides power in both ACC and engine on. I used that for my panel for that reason. If you need the wire under the hood just pass it through the fire wall to the engine bay through the pop out on the passenger side fire wall.Right when you power on the truck. Yeah I thought about tapping into that one but my truck doesn’t have that fuse for whatever reason.F28 in the passenger side fuse panel does that. Provides power in both ACC and engine on. Are you saying the fuse location is not present or that there is no fuse in it? Picture for reference.Yeah I thought about tapping into that one but my truck doesn’t have that fuse for whatever reason.
No fuse in that slot. Are you saying the fuse location is not present or that there is no fuse in it? Picture for reference.
