Amber DRLs

That's not happening...they've abandoned that idea because there were too many issues during testing.
Welp, then I'll have to wait for another company then to make them. Makes no sense for me that they switch back to white when the headlights come on. Would want them amber 100% of the time. They never said anything to me thst they gave up on it lol.

I know...I was looking forward to the full time amber as well.

Unless he just put the flashers on and took the pics and had some good timing ? Lol. Just a guess. I may or may not have don’t that before ;-). But I would def interested in this hack as well!

I wonder if this retains the “unlock sequence” with the sequential white DRLs when you unlock the truck.

I know the video said the sequential turns are retained, but no mention of the unlock sequence.

So, all amber (cab lights, mirror lights, wheel well lights) on all the time truck is running?
Well i just ordered the amber drl kit so that the DRL's will remain amber full time, with the headlights on or off.

Would like your thoughts, feelings review and photos once you intalled your kit.

I like the idea however am not so sure since I drive with my front bumper bright amber fog lamps turned on, day or night, and amber DRLs may seem like too much amber in my specific case. During daytime the fog lamps act as an attention getter to an approaching menace truck and at night they serve well to adequately light up road edges, especially useful for night driving through mountain roads and trails.

I'll let you know bud. I currently have the part time set on and love them. Only issue i had with them is them turning white if the headlights turn on. Ill provide pics and review once i get the kit installed.

To add more input to this. The prefresh 22s and earlier were not able to simply make the turn signals into DRLs as they were completely different circuits/lights, so you had to do a crazy bake off to do the internal light switch. Which double sucked because it was so permanent and not very bright during day time.

BUT, the new lights share the same LED light and definitely seem to just need a program hack. At the very least, I beleive you can easily do a wire harnes hack if one can get ahold of the wiring schematics...
I have been looking for a harness that would allow amber DRL on my 23’ and can only seem to find for the 24/25’s. Anyone know if a company made a harness yet for the 23’s?
