3.0 Duramax Oil Catch Can Install

Some information on this kit that I figured someone might find useful.

Oil catch can location: the location of this catch can works on all 2019-current vehicles (1500 Sierra, 1500 Silverado, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, and Escalade) that came out of factory with a 3.0 Duramax engine (LM2 and LZ0). The location also keeps the catch can and lines from freezing in cold weather.

Hardlines: provide better longevity under heat. The route of hardlines over the turbo/exhaust prevents the possibility of condensation build up within the lines.

AN fittings: provide a better seal, better longevity over hose and clamps, along a fittings with it being more appealing.

Looking for two of these setups, both my wife and I run LM2s and I was about to pull the trigger on PPE. I'd prefer a more accessible design. If we add the PPE intercooler, will that become an issue with space is my only concern.

Welcome.

Thanks, I was on LS1Tech since almost the very beginning and have done more catch cans with LS based engines then I can count. In big rig land they're called "centrifugal oil spinners" and do just as much to save engines.

As far as I’m aware this kit will not interfere with a PPE intercooler setup.
