3.0 diesel fuel additives

When swapping tires I tried to find the lightest option available with fuel mileage in mind. I see some people posting they get 35 to even 50 mpgs with these trucks and it makes me wonder wtf I am doing wrong lol.

The majority of those folks are lying.

50 mpg…maybe downhill coasting. There’s no way that’s sustained. Best I’ve got is 30.7 for 25 miles.

It’s good mileage but let’s not get carried away.

Also, I don’t think the 26mpg posted is for an AT4.

I agree with you I find it hard to believe-just makes me wonder. AT4s advertise 22-26. At least that’s what my window sticker said.

Mine sticker is 21/23. 2023 model. I’m still not complaining at 23mpg at 80mph for interstate driving.

Hot Shots Everyday. I dont notice alot of difference but I am using it to try and get some longevity.

Keep in mind when you change tire size. It also affect odometer readings. You might be traveling little longer than odometer reporting. Do about 100 mile trip with GPS and find out odo reading difference. Mpg loss is not as bad as it looks.

Yea, I am running 35x12.5's and I find the odometer and speedometer are about 5% lower than stock size tires.

I run hot shots and always feel like my truck runs a lot better then if I would forget to use it. I also noticed that once I went to 34.6 inch tires I went from 25-28mpg to getting at best 25mpg. And that’s after correcting speedometer with the idash.

Without a fuel conditioner, I get slight injector knocking at around 1500 RPM light throttle. I guess a lot of folks have this issue but any fuel conditioner works. Took a few takes to really get rid of the knock - ACDelco worked the best for knock but being $20 per fill is just insane. My dealership told me no one buys that stuff but when I told him it took away the knock he didn’t believe me.

Same. Now that I had my truck for 45k miles I can tell there is a difference after not using it for a while compared to when I a
do add it. More pickup for sure .

I am sure you will get loads of opinions, I add my own blended additive on every fill, problems as of yet
