I have used Ronin 50 cal bullet antennas on my previous trucks and had no issues. They have other shorty ones too.

Is the reception noticeably different with these?

I've had no reception issues at all. Even in mountain areas.
I had stock one for a few weeks and then changed over to that and couldn't even tell a difference at all.

Placed my order for a 24 3500 at4 hd gasser in June and took delivery this past week, exactly 3 months from when I ordered it. Anyone have any good suggestions with replacing the factory radio antenna with some thing shorter?View attachment 5204

Congrats! I'm still in a holding pattern. Last update was from 17 Sep, which was unloaded form rail in Kansas City. Dealer is 3.5 hrs, from KC.

Still in holding pattern here, too. Was supposed to be dropped off to dealer weekend / yesterday, but is still sitting in Flint.

As of today, supposedly on a truck from Kansas City to Arkansas with an ETA from 28 Sep - 2 Oct. Hope to have it within a week.

What’s even more brutal is they told my dealer today that the dealer couldn’t get it. And then I drive past the lot where it’s sitting in Flint this morning in my way to work.

Ouch! Makes no sense the dealer can't retrieve it. Less hassle for them and clears a space on the lot. No logic!

Oh, well. I’ve waited months as is (put in the order for the AT4X before it went live). So what’s another week or two??? There’s still hope it gets here by the weekend. I’m going to go fishing tomorrow and try not to think about it…

Understood. Yeah, I need to pull my RV next Thursday, and I'm hoping to do it in the new truck.

I was told ETA of the 23rd. Then on 24th I was told 26th. Now I'm being told no ETA.
I know where exactly it is at the transport yard an hour and half away from dealership.

No one can tell me anything true. Even called GM today and they were like we can't tell you anything except it's waiting to be picked up by carrier.

Yeah, that's annoying part for sure. My dealer told me that yesterday (per vinview) my ETA cleared out. hen today, the ETA was updated. Hopefully yours is the same way and you get updated tracking tomorrow. Apparently, it was cleared out, then re-entered with the latest info. Fingers crossed it's accurate.
