There ya go! IMG_0508.jpeg

Didn't I read somewhere that after leveling these that you can't run them in Auto 4wd at highway speeds? Just curious.

My vote is not to level. I leveled my last one and disliked it so much that I installed larger rear blocks to put a rake back in it. Reason is, to my eye the level truck with anything in the back or a full tank of gas looked squatty depending on the elevation it was parked at. It sounds weird but I am weird about my trucks. It’s gotta be right and I can’t stand squatted trucks.

Hey guys new to the forum here. Just put on the level kit from RC 1.75". Also switched out the Wrangler Tires it came with. Added Nitto ridge grapplers 295/60/R20 HUGE improvement. Quiet by a ton. Gained 3" and some change on each side in the front with the kit and tires. Gained about 1" in back. Truck stance is now BEAST MODE !

Great thread, i have been contemplating this as well.

I already added Bilstein 5160s to the rear. This was a huge improvement.

Now I am stuck on the front, level or not. I don’t tow much and like a slight rake.

Do I add the 5100s in the factory position 0.0“ just to improve the ride quality? Add the 5100s in the middle position 0.55” to slightly level it? If I use the 0.55“ position are UCAs required? Or go all out with the 6112 coil overs with UCAs? 🤔

Theoretical question: if the truck is factory lifted 2” but the front sits lower due to engine weight, should I be able to lift the front back to 2” without being out of spec on the UCA and CV? I don’t know enough about the mechanics…

Bilstein adjustable ride height front shocks. Skip the leveling kit.
I ordered Bilstein 6120's for the front assuming I could adjust them up, which you can. But, I was told by Shock Surplus the control arms need to be replaced if you want to level the AT4. Doing 5160's in the rear. I have not done any further research since the rake is OK with me.

Hey man can you post pics? I have an at4x AEV and just bought readylift 1.75” kit and LT305/70R18 E120/117R RECON 34.8. Install is week of 18th.

RC leveling kit here. No complaints, rides great and looks good too. Snapped this last weekend down in south texas bird hunting with my family.

So I am in this same predicament as everyone else but figure it's been some time now. How is everyone's level holding up on the CV joints?

FWIW I put the Ready Lift 1.75 on my Trailboss. First used just the upper puck and control arms, but didn’t like the handling characteristics. Ended up removing the puck and added the lower shim. Had a little rake but was enough to tell it wasn’t stock. If I do my AT4 that’s probably what I would do again.

I’ve had my 2” leveling kit on for a year (over 12k miles) and have had no issues. I love this truck leveled and would do it again based on my experience.

Those who have leveled the truck…did you have to realign anything afterwards? Cameras, detection systems, headlights?
