2022 Refresh Order Experience

Yup. I guess they scheduled them thinking the chips would be there then decided to just build and hold rather than skipping altogether. Seems some posts a page or two back were mentioning similar trucks sitting in Marion OH. Mine goes to Laura in IL then I'll probably have it shipped out to me in CA so I'm guessing I'll be the last to take actual possession from this group of trucks.

I've checked pretty regularly to see if anywhere in the country ever got what I ordered just by chance but it is too odd of an order so I'll just have to wait it out.

So mine is sitting in Marion OH. Last week I was told it was waiting for chips, this week I was told it was being inspected by quality control before being put on the train. I’ve found the chat to be very inconsistent through this whole process. I feel like all of our trucks are just going to show up one day. Hopefully that day is soon.

My dealer called and said my cayenne red 3.0 was built last week but is now waiting for chips. He gave me a VIN but said it is not showing up yet on vinview. Is vinview something I can access? The vin starts with 3GTUUEET. Where was it built?

Mexico. If the VIN starts with 1 it’s US and 3 is Mexico.

What did you order?

Standard bed, 3.0, dynamic Blue, all the packages, 18" wheels, no sunroof. Some dealer installed stuff too.

Standard bed is pretty hard to find. The few I have seen usually have the 6.2 and/or sunroof and 20" wheels. I think I've only seen one in blue.

I thought the AT on the Carbon Pro was black. Did that change with the refresh?

Just picked up my 22 AT4x this morning! So far absolutely loving it! Ordered 2/13 build was 4/6 delivery was 6/24.

@That 713 Drank @Lumpy received an update Monday from my dealer that my 5/30 build (same as you guys I believe) is sitting in Mexico waiting on chips. Maybe the delay means it's going to come fully completed is my hope?

I assumed mine was in Ohio waiting but if that was just the Indiana builds then I guess it's still in MX. I agree on hoping they just complete the truck with no retrofits needed. So unknown wait for chips then still the long transit to dealer and then however long it takes them to ship to me. Maybe I'll have it by winter.

Hopefully, my dealer hasn't given me any kind of update and has left alot to be desired through the whole process. I can see them still sitting in Mexico, I'm in texas so hopefully it arrives soon. Thanks for the update as well.
