2022 AT4x Trailer TPMS Sensors 433 - $120.00 plus shipping

Thanks for the input, now stay in your lane.
I've never been one to stand there holding my cellphone up when somebody getting gut-punched.
$50 part + $10.90 usps flat rate box shipping = $60.90. Now that's a great deal. Some people will sell their soul for $100. I enjoy helping out the next guy. To each his own.

I appreciate the sentiment but what it really comes down to is an item is worth what someone else is willing to pay….

I wish I had known about the order code to get the sensors when I ordered my truck but I didn’t. If I had and didn’t have a trailer I would probably be doing the exact same thing that Mr. Snow is doing.

I’m happy to pay a little extra for a factory part that I know will work instead of hassling with an Amazon chinesium knockoff, still saving me more than half off going to the dealership and getting the sensors.

Can you use these on your spare tire or if a tire sensor goes bad or are they only good for the trailers ?

Provided they work correctly the first time and you don't have to pay to install them twice 😲. Certain things I don't advise cutting corners on, but each his own.

To my knowledge these should only be used on trailers, the actual truck sensors are slightly different freq which is what you have to be careful of.

...my final $.02 is this, if you are willing to risk installing knock off sensors in your trailer tires to save $50 bucks then you probably bought the wrong truck..... :) just saying!

My feeling on that is fairly deep, but interesting.

That is exactly how I felt until I spent a whole day helping with a search for a lost child. I didn't notice my ATV gas tank was dead empty. I walked 2 miles of trail in the dark to the closest house. He charged me $50 for about 3 gallons of gas that was probably in the can for years, and I had to carry it all the way back to my ATV. Was I willing to pay? Yes. Was it right? F No. (and my ATV ran like s--- until I paid for a full gas line and injector replacement)

That bothered me to the point that I started looking into the roots of capitalism. I found that it was highly based on Adam Smith's "The Wealth of Nations". From just that, you can conclude "what's it worth to someone else?". The problem with that is that it's incomplete. That book is not meant to be read alone. You are also supposed to read Adam Smith's "The Theory of Moral Sentiment", which levels out the "greed", and "opportunism" out of capitalist transaction. If you combine making some money with moral sentiments, you have pure Americanism, what every soldier is fighting for, and too often, lays down their lives for.

If you saw the generosity that goes on in our, closed to the public, America Legion meetings every month, you would completely understand my feelings. People barely getting by finding ways to help people in worse shape, gets to you in ways that lead to this...getting irk'd by a small and simple ( and probably irrelevant) opportunistic transaction in an AT4 forum.

Sorry for interjecting, but this old right-winger veteran feels bad for people I don't even know. I've seen some horrible things in my life. I haven't slept right in decades. I don't mean either of you ill-will.

They are just tpms sensors lol. I still do checks on all my vehicles and trailer tires with a gauge I trust regardless of having sensors. I’m using aftermarket sensors in my Jeep going on 4 years and haven’t had any problem. It’s nice to have options and someone looking at the forum may want to try the ones from the link I posted.

The guy that charged you $50 for 3 gallons of gas is a POS in my opinion!

Rick, I am truly sorry that you got taken advantage of with the gas thing especially since you were helping someone else but to compare this to that situation?? ....c'mon dude...... to liken that to me charging less than fair market value for trailer sensors that someone else is happy to pay, just doesn't hold water. Clearly the buyer didn't feel taken advantage when he bought them and still doesn't after I kept my word and sent them when I said and how I said even though he prepaid for them...the fact is that no one forced him to buy them, just like no one forced you "overpay" for that 3 gallons of gas, correct? No one forced him to agree to the price but none of that really involved you to that level (Proverbs has a great verse on meddling...check it out Proverbs 26:17). I really don't have a problem with you letting people know there are knock-offs available on a thread that I started, no problem at all.. but again, to liken it to "getting punch in the gut" is ridiculous and amounts to a feeble attempt to stir up trouble. I have been taken advantage of just as everyone has at some point so I would not want to do that but I would also not want to judge every future transaction through that lens either. I have no hard feelings about it as it seems everyone is happy but you. Have a good day.
