1500 AT4 aftermarket wheels and tires - what do you have?

This is nearly the exact setup I am wanting on my sierra. Just got it this weekend, but from what I have seen to fit 35s i would need to do some trimming, replace the upper control arms in the front as well. Was wondering what brand of tire you went with and if you have any advice on getting your specs to work?
Congratulations on the truck. Yes there was very minor trimming needed, you would almost not notice it since the shop I went to that is all they do is lift kits and modifications to ensure proper fitment with no rubbing. I did change the upper control arms that came with the ready lift kit but I am already looking at going with a BDS kit or Cognito soon as I want to change the entire shocks now for something better. For tires I went with the very popular Nitto Ridge grapplers.

Can't go wrong with BDS, I got them on both my truck and my son's. It's pricey but u get what u pay for. I went with fox shocks

Thank you very much, I am already obsessed. I was wondering did the ride change, or the feel of how it handled change a lot for you? Any big drop in MPG? Nittos look so good on these my only concern is winter weather as I am in the midwest.

New shoes. 285/75 R18. Comes out to be a 35.08 x 11.26. Awesome fit, zero rubbing at full lock. Also new black lugs.

Posting an update on my newish(700 miles on them) Mickey Thompson Baja Boss 295/60 R20's. My MPG is definitely down from the Nitto RG's of the same size. Granted, it is winter here now, so snow and ice to deal with, but even when not pulling my job trailer and just driving, my MPG's seem to be down a decent bit. 2 or 3 MPG (maybe even 4) less than the Nitto's.

Granted, the MT BB's are about 5 lbs heavier per tire, and they are also .4" taller (when both tires new, my Nitto RG's had very little tread left). The tread is deeper and bigger. And I kept my Nitto RG's at about 45 to 50 psi, these MT BB's at about 40 psi. But I think the extra weight, combined with the extra height is the culprit. Plus these tires grip/grab much better, so that could be causing part of this.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the tires. Such an upgrade for snow/ice/any terrain for traction over the Nitto RG's, that it is probably worth it to get worse MPG. Looks wise, the MT BB's have grown on me. I really like them for looks now also, whereas to start I liked the Nitto RG's more. Still hard to beat Nitto RG's for looks, but at this point I am very happy with the look of the MT BB's.

I got Nitto Recon Grapplers (OEM 275/60R20) in the LT version(for now, definitely need to go bigger when I have the ability to get new wheels). They look great but I fishtail when making turns on barely wet roads (concrete not asphalt roads in North Texas) anyone else have this issue with Nittos?

Zero issues with mine. However she would spin the rear tires with little effort on the OEM Goodyear Territory MT's. Pickup trucks are notorious for this with the light rear ends. You just need to be cautious of it. It will happen with all pickup trucks. You may want to lower your rear tire pressure to see if that will help. Om mine, im running 38 in the front, and 35 in the rear on 285/75 18's "35×11.5".

Thanks, I noticed it more if I take a turn possibly a little faster than maybe I should. All the tires are around 34-35 PSI.

Yeah I've been drinking... I mean driving pickup trucks throughout my whole life, and they have always been a little tail happy no matter what tire I'm running, BFG Ko2's, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, Goodyear TerritoryMT's, etc.

View attachment 21303View attachment 21304View attachment 21305Nitto Ridge Grapplers. 285/60/20 on Fuel Rebars 20x9 +1mm. No lift, slight rub, mud flap delete kit tool care of any rubbing
No rubbing at all ? I have titanium rush at4 with diesel and want 20” fuel variants in grey but offset is +1 and want 285/60 but could live with 275/60/20 I guess. I do t want rubbing. Had that on 2009 Duramax with cognito and had metal trimmed. Pissed me off every time I went into a farm field
Thanks for any info on my first 1500 in 20 yrs after always have Hd

I had a slight rub. I bought the mud flap delete kit and that eliminated the rub. There are at least 2 different kits available. Rough Country and Sharp Truck
