So interesting thing happened the other day. I was looking at the at4 high steps to order. But thought I should check my sticker for my truck to check my sticker that was on the truck. Well guess what I paid for the at4 premium package which states that the at4 high steps are included. Called the dealer and they said they showed a different sticker and asked for me to send a picture of the sticker that I had. He stated he never has seen that before. So he is contacting GM to see who messed up. He said he would come to some resolution. I’m looking for everyone’s input on what should I do if they don’t offer me the steps for free?

I would say dealer messed up and should put them on for free. I have had 4 At4’s, when it comes to steps, they all said- dealer install. Just looked my current 2022 AT4x- said dealer install. In would look at shop foreman truck and see if he has a shiney new set of steps😂😂😂🤣

I would 2nd this. The off road sport assist steps were on back order on my 23 at4hd. Dealer gave me an iou for them when I bought the truck back in December. 17 days later, dealer called said steps came in.

Nothing was said to me about them not being on the truck, until I brought it up, saying "I can't get in, where are the steps?"

I have a feeling if I had signed paperwork and drove off on my merry way, I wouldn't have been given an iou. Glad I wasn't 20 years younger and could jump in without needing a 5 gallon bucket.

Old age made me trade up trucks as I couldn't get in this thing anymore 20 times a day...

Yea I just so happened to look at my sticker. I called them today because they told me Saturday it would be Monday before they talked to GM. But called them today and they said it was a holiday for GM executives. The dealer told me to call them back at lunch time tomorrow if they haven’t called me. I’m just interested in what he has to offer. According to them their paperwork my truck has the preferred at4 package. But I have the advanced cruise intellabeam headlights. So my truck actually has the premium package which is what my sticker shows.

Make sure they make it right. You paid for those steps, your sticker says so, they need to make it right for you.

Either they put them on for free or they give you money back.
That’s my thoughts as well. We will see how it goes today when I call them back. I just wonder if I’m going to have to be the one to stand up or if they are going to honor it willingly. Either way is fine with me I just hope they offer that out of the gate so it doesn’t hurt my feelings towards them. As they have been a greet dealer to actually deal with.

So called today ended up talking to the general manger. She stated that she could see where the original manager was confused about what happened. She had me text her my window sticker. She then text me back and said she ordered a new window sticker for my truck. Said it takes about a week to come in. Once the sticker got here she would go from there and contact me. So I’m kinda unsure of why she wanted to order a new sticker when I already text her and her new sales manager my actual sticker. Kinda up in the air as to what this means? Any ideas? 🤷🤷🤷

It means they are printing a window sticker that does not include the steps.
Yea I kinda fingered that might be the truth. But I got ol faithful the original one. If they try to say any different then it’s no rules apply kinda of chewing.

Yeah that would be legit messed up if they trying to screw you by printing a new paper without the steps

Y’all take a look and tell me!

I do not know what "re issiue" means for sure.

I can't compare vins, not saying your wrong, but I can't see the vin on the photo of the Maroney sticker. If they match, I don't know what to tell you.

Does your paperwork list the msrp of the vehicle? If'n so, which amount?
