What did you do to your AT4 today?

It was the 3/8 spacer causing the vibrations? Did you change them out for a different set or go back to no spacers at all? How’s your clearance now with the tires and large knuckle of the UCA? Thanks
Make sure you have good quality hub-centric spacers. I don’t like spacers for that reason.

Replaced with hub centric spacers. Have about 3/8” to the knuckle of the UCA.

Quiets down to an acceptable growl in idle after initial start-up. Man, when you get on this thing now, it sounds the way a big V8 is supposed to sound.

AWE 0FG Catback Split Rear Exit Exhaust w/ Quad Diamond Black Tips

That sounds good cabock, maybe a little too loud for me. I’m still on the fence wether to leave my exhaust stock for a while, muffler delete, magnaflow muffler swap, rough country cat back, or pony up for a borla touring or s type.

Got my Cognito UCAs and Bilstein 5100s installed today. Raised the front just over an inch. Hopefully ordering wheels and tires tomorrow.

Took a 4-hour trip up to Elkhart, IN over the weekend to referee at the 2023 U19 Boys Highschool National Rugby Championships. Very pleased with the MPG up and back for a 6.6L diesel. Here's a screenshot on the way back home.

Overall, it averaged out at 20.0 MPG's after the trip!

Added the RC UCA’s this morning and an alignment. Rides great!

Is the rough country “leveling kit” really the only one that will work on thr At4x??? Just got a brand new 2023 and not looking to put a kit that appears cheap on it?
Peak suspension makes a level kit as well. a spacer and a collar spacer I think

I know to each his own, but gotta ask- have seen a few of you on here wanting to change the suspension on a “X”. You gotta pay extra to get a “X” with the stuff it has, one big one being the all new great riding suspension. Why not get a AT4 to mess with? The money saved will prolly pay for suspension change.

It's a good question. The X does come with a few things the 4 doesn't, but not a lot. I mean, I don't need massaging seats, didn't even know there was a thing in these trucks, but now that I have them I like them. And the DSSV shocks on the X are much nicer than the Ranchos. Even though I have front levelled my X, and now have airlift airbags in the back, the X still rides better than the 4.

I got the 23 X because my 2020 AT4 was down and out in the shop.... for a month with no end in sight, and I needed a truck to get me back to Montana from NE.

The X really should come like the ZR2 is kitted out - a 3" lift, 33" tires and the more offroad front and rear bumpers. Now the current AT4X's come with the offroad bumpers, but mine was one of the last ones that didn't. I didn't even know the change was being made by GM to the rest of the 23 AT4X's. But then I was in a pickle needing a truck to get me home to MT after a month of my 2020 AT4 being unfixed in the dealership shop.

I agree, to me it is just GM putting on what is lowest bidder. I stuck with factory wheels and made no changes to front suspension- now running Toyo MT 285/70/18. It is even taller than the 33‘s, it is a 34.2 in tall tire. No issues, no rubbing, no cutting. There is room. GM just did not use it all. I was more speaking to the folks who lose the DSSV ride to install a lift/level.

Sierras have long had the boxy wheel wells. It is this that causes the rub with bigger tires. Obviously sticking with a stock positive offset is going to make a huge difference in what size tires will fit.

I don't feel I lost much of the DSSV ride with the front level or airbags. Some, sure, but not a lot. It still rides a lot nicer than my 2020 AT4 did (and it's not like the 2020 was bad or anything), and my wife has a 2020 AT4 carbon pro, and my X still rides nicer than hers.

I don't like trimming, but it is worth it to me to fit the offset wheel and tire size I prefer. No one else would even know, unless I showed them or they looked real close, that there is some trimming done. My biggest worry is always - does this or can this, void my factory warranty. Which may depend a lot on the dealer and shop one takes their truck to.
