I never agreed to this and it was on in my app. Definitely everyone should review this and decide if they want this on vs it just being on by default - which it absolutely was!

In the GMC app click on your initials in the upper right, scroll the screen up until you see "settings" and click on that. Then click on "OnStar Smart Driver" on the next screen.

Good to see GM putting an end to this BS, but it’s not enough. GM needs to work with LexisNexis to purge this data from our records. I realize for some the damage is already done but I don’t want the data that’s already there haunting me in the future.

Thank you for the info. Ever since I have owned my 2021 AT4 My insurance keeps going up and I was never told why. I am now wondering if this has anything to do with that.

I just checked the app, and Smart Driver was disabled on my 2024 AT4X. I wonder if that is now the factory default setting? I saw where I could enroll if I wanted to.

I froze my LexusNexis info over a year ago, including a few other companies. Don't need any of them using my info.
